Remember when I struggled with it. I stopped at page 75. I have not picked it back up. It was so boring. To go from books I could not put down(her first two) to a book I could not put down fast enough. So disappointing.

I am waiting to see what you think of the Psy-Chng series before I start it. I have the first four or five books...I keep meaning to start but something always pulls me away. I guess it is my short attention span or the zillion books I want to read.

I agree. I thought this one was better than the first. For me, the humor in the first was almost too much and at times actually pulled me out of the story. I think she balances it better with the rest of the story in this one. And I like the progress Charlie made with her family at the end of this one.

I also felt like the author finally established a balance that made the story more enjoyable as well as cohesive. I just found myself laughing less in this one. Though it was super hilarious when Charley had to advice Taft against dating "ho's" for the sake of his sister lol Strawberry Shortcake cracks me up :)

Katya, give the psy-changlings a try. I'ts a really unique world, great characters plus the bonus of an story arc that continues right through the series as well as a HEA in each book.

I have to agree completely. For some reason when the first of the series came out I put it off for the longest time. I have now read the entire series many times. I absolutely adore Nalini Singh's writing, plot, and especially her relationships between the couples. My most favorite series of any genre :)

I remembered you were struggling and while I was waiting for my library copy, I tried to encourage you on...sigh...so disappointed. I tried soooo hard by reading other positive reviews but the theme didn't change, the characters were lacking and I was dying.
