I love that book...I didn't think I would with the whole futuristic aspect, but it actually seemed pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things....man oh man can Nora Roberts write..... I'm still working on my first read through of the series, but I keep having to stop to read other things...currently on book 5.

I read that even though it's really not my cup of tea (and I knew that going in)...it did make me second-guess how I treat people though...

Shadowfever was awesome...the best book I read last year hands down!!

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I finished Immortal in Death (In Death, #3) by J.D. Robb a few days ago and it was great!! I love when Roberts writes stuff in these books that I could totally see happening...celebrities being drawn to a drug that makes them look younger even though it could cost them their life....I could totally see that happening!! And I loved seeing Roarke's protective side and seeing how he took care of Eve after her nightmare/flashback...ahhhh Roarke.

So now I must go from Roarke.....to more Roarke and am reading Rapture in Death (In Death, #4) by J.D. Robb

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments Speaking of Nora Roberts aka J.D. Robb...has anybody read her In the Garden Trilogy? It was the first thing I ever read of hers and I loved it!! It was several years ago though but it drew me in from page 1...it was one of those books where other people (people I didn't even know) would see me reading it IRL and stop to discuss it with me!! I was so sad it was only 3 books long....

Blue Dahlia (In The Garden trilogy, #1) by Nora Roberts Black Rose (In the Garden trilogy, #2) by Nora Roberts Red Lily (In the Garden trilogy, #3) by Nora Roberts

I just read that, too! It was my favorite of the three I read so far. But I have to wait to read the next one. I'm part of a buddy read group that is reading one book each month for the whole year. Oh well, it's not like I don't have plenty of other things to read in the mean time.

Tracy T. | 252 comments I finished Lothaire (Immortals After Dark, #12) by Kresley Cole , which was amazing, Vampire Academy The Ultimate Guide by Michelle Rowen , which was disappointing, and Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews , which was just okay. Now I'm reading Magic Burns (Kate Daniels, #2) by Ilona Andrews .

Brandy (txgirl7227) I usually don't do this, but I'm reading 3 books... in the middle of 2 of them. I usually finish one book before I start another, but I just couldn't help it this time since the In Death series is soooo long. I'm in the middle of Immortal in Death (In Death, #3) by J.D. Robb , finishing up Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire , & will begin Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3) by E.L. James as soon as I'm finished with Beautiful Disaster.

Pansy, this was not my usual genre of books either but I absolutely loved the books. They opened my mind to a lot of new things. Definitely give them a chance. I think you will be surprised.

Alisa (alisakayco) | 110 comments I just finished Kristen Ashley's Rock Chick series - LOVED IT. She's one of my new fav authors. I was going to continue with another series of hers, but I'm taking a hiatus from her because I'm going to hop on the Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3) by E.L. James bandwagon. I just got it and I can't wait although I already know what happens since I read the fan-fiction version :0)

Some of the Merry Gentry books are available in ebook format at public library -- check your library and if not call one in surrounding county for their policy. Most use overdrive (I'm in Kentucky so the link to the Merry books for mine is http://kyunbound.lib.overdrive.com/92... )

Sassy Sarah Reads I finished Bloom by Elizabeth Scott it was OK. Still reading Dark Prince (Carpathians, #1) by Christine Feehan (it's really good, but I usually don't bring adult books to school, that's why it's taking me so long to finish) and Endless Summer (The Boys Next Door & Endless Summer) by Jennifer Echols and this book is so BLAH, BLAH, BLAH I wanna shoot the main character for her stupidity, but I'm going to finish this book anyway.

I was reading one book, one series at a time and next thing I knew, I have all of these outstanding series and then some. Anyway, I'm reading multiple books & audiobook nowaday to keep me sane, balanced and non-zombie stage so I can get chores, errands, dressed, etc. Does that make sense?
