I hope you'll enjoy your read. I can't tell you how much I love Outlander series. It's imprinted in me in such a profound way, I'm so glad I've read it.

For me, the series got better and better. I have seen a few people a little not as happy as I with book 4. But I loved them all. I have read the spin offs and the short stories too.

I was looking at the short stories & spin offs, I think once I'm finished with the series so far I will get them too.

I can already see I'm going to get a little obsessive with this like I have with the Kate Daniels series. But oh well, it makes me happy

That's a good idea! Well, right now I'm teetering about whether or not to give the Breed series another shot. I got to Harmony's Way and stopped because it was getting repetitive and I needed a break, but it came so highly recommended on another chat site (JR Ward's Yahoo site) that I don't think I can walk away without seeing it through. Such decisions I'm expected to make! ;)

Hi Katie! This series is amazing I'm completely obsessed!! I love Kat and Bones. I wasn't as happy with the last 2 books as the first 4 but they are still amazing. You must read the First Drop of Crimson and Eternal Kiss of Darkness (Night Huntress World, #2) before you read book 5 or 6 as there are spoilers and you will really be disappointed if you found out what happened without readying the books. The shorts are great too :)

I agree with Shiran! You need to read those 2 before you continue with the series. They are wrote different than Night Huntress, like the dynamic is not the dynamic Kat and Bones have. They are still amazing.

One Foot in the Grave tonight && I can't wait. It made my day as it came into my book store early & I have ordered in At graves end, A drop Of Crimson & eternal Darkness & I think the 4th. I am so excited, I hope they get here in time for when I finish the 2nd. I am addicted & want more

Katie - I agree with the others. You really need to read the spin-offs in the correct order or you will get confused when you get to book 5.

message 16617: by Christine (new)

Christine | 1127 comments @ Jolyn. I'm 300 pages into City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare and I think I'm going to fall into the group with you of people that don't love this book. The story's okay, the characters are okay. I like Jace. I think it's mainly the writing style that's not working for me. Plus I read so much hype about how great the book is, that I think I expected too much and am maybe judging too harshly. Although, so far I think I like it better than Twilight. So that's something. ; )

I know it's highly addictive, but you are far ahead of some of us. My plan is to get through this series & to go onto either BRB (i think that's the initials) & then the Highlander so I can read the Fever series unless you guy's tell me better books to get through first. I also really want to read the Chicago Vampires too, so many books, so little time & money....

I bawled so hard last night, and stayed up way too late. I was so unsure about this series. I still have a love/hate relationship with it, but I have to admit that it has me thinking about it all of the time.

message 16622: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellebelle01) | 47 comments I just started The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark, #1) by Kresley Cole based off recommendations from here and I'm not sure this is my type of series. I'm super picky and tend not to like things that don't take place in something that's at least closely related to our world. Plus, this one feels like it's kind of jerky to get into. I'm going to finish it, but not digging it right now...

message 16623: by Magda (new)

Magda | 558 comments Ellen, please don't base the IAD series off of TWWF. I put off reading the series because I didn't enjoy TWWF, found it confusing. Couple of months later, I picked up A Hunger Like No Other & fell in love. If you can, give the next book a shot, it's much better than TWWF.

message 16624: by [deleted user] (new)
