I read in one of the lastest of the Anita Blake novels that Srgt Stor took her into Guilty Pleasures on police business, and that's when she first met Jean Claud. Stor was feeling really guilty about it. Thinks he somehow threw Anita to the vampires that night.
But I do wish she would go back and tell that tale.

Jean Claude is all through the books. I wouldn't give up on them if he's the reason you read them. He's becomes her main squeeze...well, one of them. The novel's get way more erotic as they go on.

GK was my first read from R.Mead and I was such a wreck and so distraught by all of the emotions mentioned above. What a great read but it's not one of those I can re-read though.

and so far I'm loving it as much as the first in the series."
I'm holding my breath, my friend...remember, we are still friend even if you hate this book, ok? lol. I just went thru your books, boy...you are a hard critic. I'm checking out your 4 & 5 stars reads. Thanks.

I love Masters of Time! I guess I always have a soft spot for Highlanders AND these can travel time so I can dream...

Listening to

I've found my "distraction" read for the gym! yes, erotic romance helped me stay on the treadmill/elliptical longer...go figure.

Backstage Pass was AWESOME!!! Have a fan and some ice water (or wine!) with you when you start, lol!

I got to what I'm guessing was the "controversial" part of the book. I admit I was shocked she took it as far as she did and I can see why some people would be put off by it. But to me it's almost more realistic than some of the hearts and flowers and there will never be another that you get it most books. I'm curious to see how they work through it. I'd have beat the living snot out of him, too. I'm still loving the book, and I'm picking up little hints here and there that there is a lot more to come from this series. I can't wait.

Starting

I love Molly Harper. Have you read her paranormal series? AOLT was actually her first non-paranormal. I read

I am reading this one and it is AMAZING.
I have had a hard time putting it down. The only reason I didn't finish it all in one day is that I have been super busy!

Now I am reading

i agree with you you can't do a review if you don't like the style of the book ..and it's not fair to badly note it just because you don't like the style
