Boo Boo Kitty I can't wait. I loved Angus and Connor, especially. It had all the things I like in a book-romance, action, story, humor and characters to sink your teeth in(pun intended!)

Boo Boo Kitty I am starting the 2nd Love at stake tonight. I hope to have book 3 in a couple of days. I also ordered the 1st Psy book by Nalni Singh.

I too loved Night Huntress and Fever series. I just recently read Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh on a recommendation and I loved it. I enjoyed it about as much as Night Huntress and more than the Fever series. It was unexpectedly awesome.

Good news. There are going to be 2 more books with Mac and Barrons. I read it on a different board. Have you read her Highlander books? Very good.

I'd say Highlander if you like KMM's writing style. I loved it. And of course, according to these recent discussion, Guild Hunter by Nalini Singh. I'm also having great fun reading Dragon Kin by GA Aiken. Of course, hardcore PNR-Black Dagger Brotherhood...IMO.

I have these written down...feeling a little naughty and have been eyeing these for awhile but having too many books out from the library, sigh...

I have a huge weak spot for the Scots as well. Maybe I will put this on my TBR list. Sounds like it would be right up my alley.

If you haven't read the series yet you should give the Guild Hunter series a try. Excellent books by Nalini Singh.

message 15572: by Sheree (new)

Sheree PC & ladies, thankyou for your recommendations, I went to my book store & have had to order in the first Night Huntress, she knows me well & now wont make me leave a deposit lol I see her every week. Succubus Revealed is releasrd here next week, I can't wait, it's on pre order too as are the first two books in the Weather Wardens by Rachel Caine, they never released them in Australia so I've had to get them shipped in (roughly 4 wks) so I will continue on Paranormalcy (omg I'm over teen angst) until I get Succubus & once I finish that Night Huntress should be in for me to start & I can't wait

I must warn you, once you do BDB, it's going to be hard to find another series with that kind of intensity...but than again, I have not read nearly as much BUT would LOVE to get recommendation of something of the like.

Agreed! I find I get really dissapointed with most PNR.(I read a lot of UF). I did find Demonica, Lords of Deliverance, and Shifters Unbound. All great PNR. Most of the others have just been alright. I am constantly looking for the next 5 star, can't get out of my head, PNR series.
(Keep in mind, wether correct or not, I consider some of my favorite series UF but have heard people call them PNR, such as Fever, Night Huntress, Chicagoland Vamps, and Kate Daniels).

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Finished One Grave at a Time (Night Huntress, #6) by Jeaniene Frost , got my fix of Bones and Cat...for now, but of course it's never enough, thus the mixed reviews. For what I got of them, I was happy! it didn't get 5 stars bc it felt incomplete from the angle of Tate, Don and Madigan's storyline.

Thanks Denise, I've read Demonica, Dark Hunter, Guild Hunter, LOTU, Midnight Breed, Fever & Highlander, Alien Huntress, Sentinel Wars...to name a few. Even though I love these series to pieces I still felt it's missing that depth-hardcore-raw intensity. Don't get me wrong, I can always use a great recommendations...as if 400+ books TBR is any indication, lol. Thanks again.

With that said, I'm so wanting to read IAD, Psy-Chall, Pride but kept picking up the newer series, sigh...
