oooh yeah...well, they are very sympathetic in the last book...who knows. Tynan too!

Crescendo is such a good book...read it this weekend! Ready for the 3rd book!

I enjoy Maya Banks books. I've read the first of that series but it's b..."
That's a great series. It's good if you could read them in order. Lots of things happened in the first two.

I agree, I loved the two of them together. I also think it's great that the author writes erotic romance and yet there wasn't a sex scene for over 100 pages. She really built the tension between the two. Loralei James is a fantastic author, and she makes me wish I lived in the South--although, I doubt there are any cowboys like the McKay cowboys *sigh*--but that's why we read, right.

I also love the family connection between the McKays, they're all stubborn, rowdy, independent, and they are a very close family. I love how she's interwoven such a wide range of characters into one family--I love them all. I could read this series for as many as she writes, it never gets boring or predictable.

I enjoyed this book but there is a twist at the end that I didn't really like. I have books 2 & 3 and plan to read them for the September challenges.

It is one of my favorite series!!!

the whole series is awesome!!!

It's YA. You know, I always judge a book by its cover and the cover doesn't look YA. The ratings seem good, but we all have different tastes.
I actually added

I've only read Book#1 in the Midnight Breed series, rated it 2 stars. Am afraid of picking up the next one.

I agree Magda - 1st books in most cases are almost always weaker than the rest of the series.
Book 4 for Sookie verse is my all time favorite and she lost me on on the last two installments.

One of my favorite BDB books. Rehv is so sexy. I am reading

I think the family dynamics is what I like the most about the books. Instead of them getting bad they get better. Ms. James has definitely found her niche.

Boohoo, I'm 2 books behind you. WTH is going on with my library, ugh... I need my Rough Riders craze!!!

Jessica...I'm living vicariously thru your read for my Rhev's hook-up, sigh...

I know, every now and then you just need a good dose of McKay cowboy!

Yes I would like a bit of Madoc, that kind of diamond in the rough kind of guy.
Nika's Power is awesome. Sometimes with the characters I get so attached. I think this is one I cried with.

Any suggestions??"
I would do Supernatural first. I read the Dragon Kin short from Supernatural & it was great.

Jessica...I'm living vicariously thru your read for my Rhev's hook-up, sigh..."
LOL! I'm really liking me some Rhev!

Next of my agenda is a tie (I have to flip a coin):
[book..."
The Guild Hunter series is great! You'll love it.

I've read it, too!
No, I agree it can't be as amazing as VA, but it makes good competition. (:
I liked Sydney's POV.
I missed a bit Rose, and I see some people's point in saying Bloodlines was a bit boring, but Richelle Mead did awesome job at keeping Sydney's character real and it's not her fault if the girl is like that haha ;D
I'm looking forward to The Golden Lily. (:

I have this book but decided I should read VA first. I've heard such good reviews on the series. :)
