This is the 8th book in the 'Love at stake' series, so if you're into "paranormal romance" you should look it up.. Its very funny too, btw. Oh, and there are some Kilt-wearing Scots (vampires) in this series, that makes you want to move to Scotland, and look for your own.. Thats all I'm saying.. ;o)

Finished (Meh.) and (HOLY CRAP, AMAZING) late last week.

I spent the weekend working on , finishing it up last night. Good read, but took me a while to finish. Concept was really good, though the ending a little weak. It's the first in a series, though, so we'll move on to book 2.

And I just started , which is the August group read at Vampire Book Club. Very excited about this one.

Omnitopia Dawn: Omnitopia #1 by Diane Duane has long, loving passages of description that evokes the lifestyle of a CEO of an online gaming company, a real utopia for gamers. But though it depicts a lot of the usual gaming-combat, and even hacker-duels, it shows us what it means to be a good person the way Robert Heinlein showed us what it means to be interested in technology. If it had a Romance thread it would be perfect.

If I recall this one correctly, it's just before the wedding and EVERYONE is MIA, right? I still enjoyed the book -- it was interesting -- but yes a little sad. I love snarky Betsy and she got to be a bit snarky in this one, but there wasn't as much of that fun Betsy/Sink Lair stuff I loved so much, lol.

I read them all I think some of the books are better than others but it is a quick read and I believe it gets better when you are all in pg 100

I really enjoy the Love at Stake series by Kerrelyn Sparks. I enjoy books that make me laugh and this series does that!

Halfway through Burning Up and loving it. It's an anthology by Meljean Brook, Nalini Singh, Angela Knight and Virginia Kantra. I love the novels of the first 2 authors and their short stories haven't disappointed.

I actually really like this series and think that if you keep up with it it will get better. There are some very interesting twists coming up!

Hi Jen, I'm on pg 330 of Unbound Pleasure. I heard so much about Demonica that I just had to give it a try. It's no where near the endearment btwn Cat & Bones series. did you like it? I found it a little confussing with so many characters and the idea of this demon & human world colliding. My thing is, seriously, how can Tay doubt E over and over of his good intension given what she learned about him? he's so in love with Tay, it's sad.

I don't have Eternal Kiss of Darkness yet but how I'd love to have it in my hands right now. I found Frost writing flows better, sweet, funny and just enough suspense...IMO...

Lol. Yup. This series has a lot of 'tough love' in it. But once in a while there's a line or moment where its just 'aaaaawwwwwwww........'

I hope you really enjoy those books! CV is my second fave series and NH is my third! I truly love the characters in CV, the storyline great and I really like how its a strong heroine. Spade from NH is my second fave character of the series and I really appreciate him more in this book!

Idon't know how you can keep up wih multiple books. I wouldn't be able to drop one and continue the other. Oh man...my library is missing Passion Unleashed. I do have book 4 so if I don't have book 3, I'll read that first, darn it.

There is some sexual action in but I actually stopped reading it. Not because it isn't good. The book is great but I've heard it ends on a cliffhanger and the next book isn't due for six months. I hate cliffhangers so I'm going to wait until the next book comes out to finish it.
Does anyone know if that's going to be the end of the series? I hope not. I love Karen Marie Moning

The next book is the last in the series and will be twice as long as her other books. For me it was the worst cliffhanger of any book I have read - left off in the middle of a scene - don't want to say more because I don't want to give anything away. I plan on rereading the series in January just in time for the new book.

I also loved her Highlander books and hope she has more of those or another series planned.

I just finished Undead and Unfinished last night - was better than I was expecting due to many bad reviews but I hated the Epilogue.

I need to finish up some library books so I can get to some other books I really want to read - Jeanie Frost and Genna Showalter books. So my next book will be Bond of Blood by Diane Whiteside.
