no, The Red Pyramid is the first in the Kane Chronicles series, which deals with Egyptian mythology. So far, any plans for a new Camp Half Blood series are just tentative
Ooh, I forgot to add THE RED PYRAMID. Egyptian mythology! Yay!Amber, how was LINGER? I read SHIVER but I didn't really like it. I hope the 2nd book is better. :)

Rick is working on a new camp half-blood series. His next book is scheduled to come out May 4, 2010 (the same day Last Olympian came out last year) and it's called The Red Pyramid. If you read Rick's blog ( http://rickriordan.blogspot.com/ ) he mentions the new Camp Half-Blood series several times, and tells you little tidbits of info about it. Percy's story has been left for us readers to decide what happens next.

I'm really looking forward to reading the 3rd Hunger Games book and the 3rd book in the Charmed Life series.
Has anyone else read THE SECRETS OF TEH IMMORTAL NICHOLAS FLAMMEL (the alchemyst, The magician, the sorceress?)
The Red Pyramid is what I'm excited for.Do you know for sure if the Charlie Bone Series is done? Cuz i don't think it would end just like that...
hahhaa i have to now. THE LOOKING GLASS WARS and PERCY JACKSON gave me so much anxiety! But of course, i got messed up by Joseph Delaney and his Spook books! I started reading cause I thought there'd only be 7 but now an 8th one has been announced

YES! The Secrets of The Immortal Nicholas Flammel are great! Epic! Amazing! Superb!
They are hard to describe, BUt pretty much 2 twins Josh and Sophie witness a fight with magical powers in a small bookshop.
They later discover that a French Alchemyst (Nicholas Flammel is still alive, and he takes them under his wing and tells them they are part of an ancient Prophecy).
Sophie has her powers awoken, and Josh is going to have his, but soon The Codex (an ancient book) falls into the hands of Dr.John Dee (an English Necromancer) and with that he will have the power to bring Ancient Gods back to life-which would be terrible for all those with no magical powers. So they must stop him.
it includes lots of great history and geography. (3 continents in 3 books). It is much better then i have made it sound! I LOVE IT!!!!!
And William Shakespere and Billy the Kid make an appearance in Book 3!
And Music Lover (kelsy) there are 8 books in the series. They are definitely ended.
