I'm reading The Dark Divine & Redemption Alley. While messing around online I saw that my local library carried an IR, Suite Seduction, so I requested it.

It is May and I have not read one IR book this year so I have been falling down on the job! LOL. So I recently ordered from Amazon:Somebody To Love it is a historical so I am very intrigued by it.
In the Midnight Rain While not written as an IR I have been spoilered and know a little bit about the plot -- has a strong IR element
Dmitry's Closet on the Kindle. Can't beat a 3.99 price! Considering her previous book was something like 21.00 for a paperback and I wasn't shelling out that dough for an untried author. Want to support the genre but I have limits.
I read the first two, Tina. They were good. I like the second book more. I'm going to read Dmitry's Closet.
I am currently reading
. It's been quite some time since I've read J.J. Murray's books. I am enjoying this one so far...it's pretty funny. It's great that a white, male author can get into the head of a black woman without sounding like a stereotype. I've read a few books by black, female authors that can't even seem to avoid that issue. He's come a long way from his first book.
I'm glad you're enjoying that one, Loni. I bought it off Amazon.
Sounds like it would be a good book.

I'm reading Lisa Kleypas's Mine Till Midnight. It's a very cute story and I'm enjoying Kleypas's beautiful way of writing. I'd forgotten how talented she is with her pen. I read Seduce Me at Sunrise before this one and quite liked it. I also finished Kenyon's Night Play (Dark-Hunter, #6) and I didn't like it for a variety of reasons, but mostly because of the writing. I've read one of the Sydney Croft books (can't remember which), and I do recall it being quite hot which was just fine with me! Now that its been mentioned I'm going to dig the other books out from under my TBR pile and finish the series.
I was happy to find I'm Your Girl by Murray at a sale recently, since I don't see too many IR there.

I would just like him to try a book not in the first person for once. I like to know what everyone is thinking about a given situation and it's hard to determine that based off of a single person's perspective.
Despite that issue, J.J. manages to make the first person okay for me since his main character is pretty funny in her thinking.
Despite the discouraging comments, I'm currently reading
. Partly because it looks really interesting & partly because I'd like to see how bad it sucks. So far, its cutesy. I can tell from the first "fade-to-black" sex scene in the first chapter that there will be no hot shweaty interracial loving. Hopefully the book will be good enough to where that doesn't matter.
Sorry, Eugenia. I guess you found out, because I've seen you over there.

lol. I'll write a review on my blog and Shelfari about it.

I've been reading a lot of Chick-lit and Historical Romance over the last couple of days. I just finished Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie.
I just finished Dmitry's Closet, and I'm floating around in a daze. That was a transcendent book! I really, really enjoyed it.
I was reading Bitten, by Kelly Armstrong but got reader's block. I didn't pick up a book for a while, yesterday I bought Kindred in Death by J.D. Robb.
I've been on a IR reading tear lately. I read
which was very well written.I read
which had a great concept and was also nicely written although i did have some problems with execution. I adored
.
was soapy but really good.I rec all of those.
I also read
which was a huge disappointment and I heartily disliked.I am currently reading
which is actually turning out to be a pretty darned suspenseful IR paranormal.

Rae, I am feeling you. The League series by Kenyon, really revved up my enthusiasm for Sci-Fi. I read Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan not too long ago, and I've been on the hunt since then.
I'm reading
right now. I may start
this weekend, as well.

Above the comment box, there's an add book/author option you click on it and choose cover and type author and book name or book name and you will see the cover and hit add. You will not see the picture, until you hit send, after you are finished with your comment.

You are welcome.
You are welcome.
Right now I'm reading
, which sucks (pun not intended) &
which is pretty good. And the protagonist is multi-racial!
Has anyone read Zoe by TA Ford? I just bought a copy the other day. Its an IR historical romance.
Oh yes indeedy! That's one of my faves. :-D It had a great storyline and some great complex characters. I think you'll like it Michelle! :-)
You too, Danielle. :-)
I wish she still had the book trailer up at YT. It was a nice one.

I'm reading
, which I'm enjoying quite a bit. The heroine is biracial (black and white), and the hero is German white. It's book six in the Midnight Breed.
