Yeah... While the story was good, the heroine got on my nerves for creating the plot around stupid careless decisions.. The hero, however was scrumptious :P For an indie author she was pretty good. Will definitely try next in series.

Now I am going to start

LOl You were the one who got me hooked to Pintrest, remember?? Wicked woman you!! :P .
If you try any book on this series, do let me know your thoughts. xoxox

Now starting

Loved the Kleypas books but was a bit disappointed in the Hoyt."
Keep reading the Hoyt series...the last one is the best ...IMO!

Tell me about it! I have the app on my phone, and I pin away... to my <3`s content.

Nice, Laura. We seem to have very similar book taste!
How was "Ellis Island"? It seems interesting. I also own the dressmaker; any good?
Since I was here last, I finished :

Ellis Island I enjoyed quite a bit, but The Dressmaker seemed overdone...the protagonist annoyed me.

Yikes! If you disliked The Dressmaker because of an obnoxious heroine, then I`m DEFINITELY booting that book off my TBR.I cant stand insufferable fools.
Thanks for the opinion.

Insufferable fool...that is exactly what I feel about the protaganist, Tess, in The Dressmaker. I wanted to shake her a few times.
