What are you reading?
Thanks so much, Melanie! I'll check my library for the Regencies. :)I also thought "Dukes to the Left of Me..." was cute (ridiculous title, notwithstanding). I'm planning to read the next one in the series, too (Cloudy With A Chance Of Marriage).

Audrey, Did you like the Crown Spies series more than the Highland Lairds series? I am so loving being in Scotland with the story "The Ransom".
Amanda - if you meant me, I loved the first three in the CS series, but also loved her Highland Lairds/Lairds' Fiancees series.. IMO, they were slightly different (her heroes in CS were less "barbaric", lol), but I couldn't choose which I prefer! I'd definitely read both..If you didn't mean me, ignore me:-D
I finished listening to Cry No More yesterday and that wiped me out. I really didn't feel like listening to anything else so I decided to listen to Seduce Me at Sunrise, which is my favorite Hathaway book. I haven't done a re-read in a while but I'm really enjoying it!

I hope you enjoyed it tho.

So sorry....yes I meant you! You must excuse me, my brain is muddled from writing report cards all night! Thanks for the info on JG. I am definitely going to try her CS series too!
Amanda: I started the book yesterday :) . I was hesitant, because I know it's a strong dark plot-my favorite in fact. I read a book just as draining not less than a week ago. Lets see how it goes. Thanks for the encouragement.xxxx

Lol. Thing is, I'm not in a good place right now, so i was hesitant to start a very emotional book. But I started it already :)

Autumn, I hope things get better for you. How about picking up an oldie but goodie? Julie Garwood will make you laugh. Hugs!
Thank you Danielle ((((((((huggggss)))))))) im reading the phsy-changeling series in between.that should pick me up when the book gets draining.lets see how out goes.
Ah Bekah - Sorry, been out of touch:-) Now, I enjoyed
, I did.. Gave it 4* actually. It was just pretty angsty and dark. In a nutshell, if you want a spoiler of the beginning: (view spoiler)angst ensues..I liked the book, but I found it too emotionally sad, and didn't like the long separation between J and E... But I did love their interactions:-D It was kind of a Diana Palmer RS book with sex, lol["br"]>["br"]>
Hmmm, thats intersesting..I like the sound of angst and a sort of Diana Palmer-esque book but not the long seperation between the h/h. I just bought the series...that's why i'm so curious!
Anne wrote: "I just finished Suddenly You this afternoon. Soooo good. Jack is YUMMY, and I loved Amanda!" I read that book week or 2 weeks ago i love it! Jack Is So yummy!
Bekah - The separation is long in the sense that something happens in the first chapter, then they spend seven years apart before meeting up again.. But the character build-up happens mainly after the reunion, if that's what you're worried about:-DLisa Kay - hope you enjoy AGOT and JLH!!!
Since my last update, read
and currently reading
and
oh...so they aren't seperated throughout the book, just 7 years goes by in the timeline of the book...
I'm still floating on a cloud after reading Morning Glory by LaVyrle Spencer. It's the first time I've ever read anything by her.
Bekah wrote: "oh...so they aren't seperated throughout the book, just 7 years goes by in the timeline of the book..."First chapter or two, then they're separated seven years, then meet up again in chapter four or so:-D
I finished the infamous
(which was as advertised!) devoured two SEPs
and loved
now taking a break from romance with
Jennifer, I loved Match Me If You Can! I actually just finished up Heaven, Texas, which was quite enjoyable. Not sure what's up next...might head back to more historicals or maybe even Georgette Heyer (for the first time!).
Jennifer and Audrey - Have you read
? It's amazing, and if you haven't read it yet, you definitely should!!!Jennifer - Will you be going on to Comanche Heart? or are you giving yourself a break?:-D
Melanie, I haven't read that one yet...was a little hesitant to read about a spoiled rich girl heroine, honestly. Might add it to the hefty TBR if my library has it, though. :)
Audrey wrote: "Melanie, I haven't read that one yet...was a little hesitant to read about a spoiled rich girl heroine, honestly. Alex makes her jump through hoops, but she stays a lady through and through... My fave SEP! I definitely recommend it!

Thanks for the rec - I will definitely pick up Kiss...and yes, as soon as I get to the library I am getting Comanche Heart! I was so excited to see it on the shelf, but wasn't sure if I was going to want to read it so soon after. Now I'm kicking myself for not grabbing it when I had the chance!

AMANDA- I will let ya know what I think. I didn;t feel that
was as good as the first two in the series. Check out my review if you'd like. But I hope that
will be better.

Thanks Mshj! I love Kinsale too, but this one is kinda slow. And another difficult thing is the heroine, I don't like her. I'm keeping an open mind though because I still think she is well written. I'm 140 pages into the book so I hope it gets better. I'll let you know and link my review :)
