Audrey - JG writes the Crown's Spies series (regency London) and a couple books set in historical US:
The Lions Lady by Julie Garwood Guardian Angel (Crown's Spies, #2) by Julie Garwood The Gift (Crown's Spies, #3) by Julie Garwood Castles (Crown's Spies, #4) by Julie Garwood
Prince Charming by Julie Garwood For the Roses (Rose, #1) by Julie Garwood The Clayborne Brides One Pink Rose, One White Rose, One Red Rose by Julie Garwood Come the Spring (Rose, #5) by Julie Garwood
and regency (I think) - Rebellious Desire by Julie Garwood (need to reread that one, I can't remember it!!)

On my end, read Dukes to the Left of Me, Princes to the Right (Impossible Bachelors, #2) by Kieran Kramer which was cute, but not fabulous: 3*

Audrey (odderie) | 25 comments Thanks so much, Melanie! I'll check my library for the Regencies. :)

I also thought "Dukes to the Left of Me..." was cute (ridiculous title, notwithstanding). I'm planning to read the next one in the series, too (Cloudy With A Chance Of Marriage).

Audrey, Did you like the Crown Spies series more than the Highland Lairds series? I am so loving being in Scotland with the story "The Ransom".

message 3804: by Autumn (new)

Autumn (sweetdenial) | 1625 comments finished Caressed By Ice (Psy-Changeling, #3) by Nalini Singh starting An Enchanted Season (Berkley Sensation) by Maggie Shayne and possibly next. Comanche Moon (Comanche, #1) by Catherine Anderson

message 3805: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 638 comments Amanda - if you meant me, I loved the first three in the CS series, but also loved her Highland Lairds/Lairds' Fiancees series.. IMO, they were slightly different (her heroes in CS were less "barbaric", lol), but I couldn't choose which I prefer! I'd definitely read both..

If you didn't mean me, ignore me:-D

message 3806: by D.G. (new)

D.G. I finished listening to Cry No More yesterday and that wiped me out. I really didn't feel like listening to anything else so I decided to listen to Seduce Me at Sunrise, which is my favorite Hathaway book. I haven't done a re-read in a while but I'm really enjoying it!

message 3807: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (odderie) | 25 comments Oh, Amanda, I think you meant Melanie. I haven't read any Garwood books (yet!). :)

Thanks for the encouragement.xxxx

message 3820: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 638 comments Ah Bekah - Sorry, been out of touch:-)
Now, I enjoyed Rescue Me (Last Chance Rescue, #1) by Christy Reece , I did.. Gave it 4* actually. It was just pretty angsty and dark. In a nutshell, if you want a spoiler of the beginning: (view spoiler)angst ensues..
I liked the book, but I found it too emotionally sad, and didn't like the long separation between J and E... But I did love their interactions:-D It was kind of a Diana Palmer RS book with sex, lol

message 3821: by Bekah, Fellow Kleypasaholic (new)

Bekah (bekah317) | 2750 comments Hmmm, thats intersesting..I like the sound of angst and a sort of Diana Palmer-esque book but not the long seperation between the h/h. I just bought the series...that's why i'm so curious!

message 3825: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 638 comments Bekah - The separation is long in the sense that something happens in the first chapter, then they spend seven years apart before meeting up again.. But the character build-up happens mainly after the reunion, if that's what you're worried about:-D

Lisa Kay - hope you enjoy AGOT and JLH!!!

Since my last update, read Undertow (Cutter Cay #1) by Cherry Adair Untraceable (Tracers, #1) by Laura Griffin Ten Things I Love About You (Bevelstoke, #3) by Julia Quinn The True Love Wedding Dress (Includes Coulters Historical #2) by Catherine Anderson and currently reading No Rest for the Wicked (Immortals After Dark, #3) by Kresley Cole and Runner's World Complete Book of Women's Running The Best Advice to Get Started, Stay Motivated, Lose Weight, Run Injury-Free, Be Safe, and Train for Any Distance by Dagny Scott Barrios

That's how I felt before reading it, but honestly, you'll realize that Daisy is one of the least spoiled heroines ever! Alex makes her jump through hoops, but she stays a lady through and through... My fave SEP! I definitely recommend it!

AMANDA- I will let ya know what I think. I didn;t feel that Indigo Blue (Comanche, #3) by Catherine Anderson was as good as the first two in the series. Check out my review if you'd like. But I hope that Comanche Magic (Comanche, #4) by Catherine Anderson will be better.

Thanks Mshj! I love Kinsale too, but this one is kinda slow. And another difficult thing is the heroine, I don't like her. I'm keeping an open mind though because I still think she is well written. I'm 140 pages into the book so I hope it gets better. I'll let you know and link my review :)

Also, acting a bit schizophrenic by both listening to Dark Prince (Carpathians, #1) by Christine Feehan and reading Dark Prince(Carpathians, #1) by Christine Feehan via e-book. Need that book finished for a challenge, so approaching it any means I can get it done, LOL!
