Grace Elliot (httpwwwgoodreadscomgraceelliot) | 68 comments Just started My Dearest Enemy by Connie Brockway as part of the group read - the reviews look awesome. I bought it and was then shocked to find its Victorian, not regency (oh la la - how will I cope. LOL) It's ages since I've been unfaithful to the regency.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 4782 comments So many good books posted! :-)

Listening to: Naked in Death (In Death, #1) by J.D. Robb Read it years ago and thought I'd listen this time. Man-oh-man! It still holds up!

Don't tell Dhestiny, but I'm finally reading Surrender (MacKinnon’s Rangers, #1) by Pamela Clare . I don't want her to get overexcited at her age.

Also reading The Unsung Hero (Troubleshooters, #1) by Suzanne Brockmann with a GR friend. It is really very good too!

Man-oh-man! Three excellent books - maybe I'm the one who'll get overly excited. LOL!

message 3536: by Shelly (new)

Shelly (shellye77) Lisa - The Unsung Hero is a good book, and a great start to a great series! Except for the last one, Breaking the Rules, I highly recommend the whole series!

message 3537: by Shelly (new)

Shelly (shellye77) I just finished Gentle Rogue, my 3rd Lindsey book, and one I finally love! The first two in the Mallory series I didn't like, but this one has convinced me to keep going on, so tomorrow I will start The Magic of You, and try to knock out more of Dangerous in Diamonds tonight before bed!

technically, I could have finished it . . . if I wanted to be bored some more. it was very by-the-numbers

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments seton wrote: "technically, I could have finished it . . . if I wanted to be bored some more. it was very by-the-numbers "

I've had books like that. They read more like a text book than a fictional novel.

message 3542: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (sadstrumpetjenny) Lisa - I just got Naked in Death out of the library this weekend! I am also reading Lover Unleashed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #9) by J.R. Ward and In the Bleak Midwinter (Rev. Clare Fergusson, #1) by Julia Spencer-Fleming . I needed a break from all the regencies.

message 3543: by Amar (new)

Amar | 118 comments Stayed up late finishing Any Man of Mine (Chinooks Hockey Team, #6) by Rachel Gibson I really liked it...so much that I might revisit it again today!

message 3544: by Amar (new)

Amar | 118 comments Speaking of textbook, I'm having a hard time finishing Marry Me (Reidsville, #2) by Jo Goodman ...I keep feeling like I've read so much, yet I'm still not half way through. I am interested in the story but I just need it to get moving...and the medical details, holy cow, interesting at first but taking any romance out of the book for me...oh wait I'm still waiting for the romance to come into the book!

message 3545: by Laura (new)

Laura Landon (lauralandon) | 108 comments I'm reading Broken Wing by Judith James ! Oh, My! One of the most tortured heroes I've ever met. Great read!

message 3546: by Katherine (new)

Katherine | 828 comments Starting At Last Comes Love (Huxtable Quintet, #3) by Mary Balogh . Having trouble getting through the series. It's not bad just not up to Kleypas' "Wallflowers" or Quinn's "Bridgerton" series.

message 3549: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments Glad to hear you're liking that one, Heidi. I tend to assume that if something was free, it probably isn't very good. Thankfully I've been proven wrong on that!

message 3550: by Heidi (last edited May 12, 2011 11:38AM) (new)

Heidi | 871 comments Yep Dhes, so far so good...I'm liking the characters and the dialog is amusing, had me a chuckling a few times already.
