IF it's your first KR, and you like a dark gripping RS read, I'd recommend trying Die For Me (book #7), first in a trilogy which you can read out of order with her other books.. I was really caught up in the story, and the villain was awful!:-D

NO!!!! You need to read Die for Me first!!! The books are too linked! Don't even read the synopsis for Scream for me, lol

So glad to see another fan for this wonderful book. It was a hidden gem for me when I found it, and now it's my all-time favorite contemporary romance.

I think I'm the only person that just detested this book. I thought it was horrible and a copy of Sleeping With the Enemy.

Okay Melanie! I didn't, I didn't! LOL! Here is a little something for you. (view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>

LK - A chill pill??? LOL, Jeez, thanks:-D
Bekah - Never saw Sleeping With the Enemy, so that might be why I enjoyed it:-)
Finished

Hands down to that statement Julie.
finished

ahh Melanie you couldnt be in better hands!! ;) she is one of my favorites as well. xxxxx

that was like her first or 2nd novel. didnt like it :-(

Life's intrusions sucks.

I love this book. It is my favorite one she has written so far.

ahh Melanie you couldnt be in better hand..."
Lol... I ordered her backlist:-D I just can't believe I've put off reading her for 6 months!!!:-D
@ Seton - It might not have been my fave by CB (lacking the angst of AYD or the Rose-Hunters IMO), but it was just such a sweet & well-written story:-) Which was your fave CB?

I love this book. It is my favorite one she has written so far. "
Me too! :-)
@Melanie -- my fave CB is AYD. By a mile.

@Seton - I think most everyone's fave is AYD:-D Have you tried the Rose Hunters though?

@E. -- thought THE SHY BRIDE was pretty dull.
Finished Stolen by the Sheikh. Not as raunchy as I would like my smut to be. Pretty much a THE SHEIK ripoff.

Yeah, except Saddled and Spurred is a naughty read, so I hide that one until night when I've gone to bed.
I don't want my kids to know what a smutaholic I am.

I know, I know. I hide it sooooo well. (No one in my family has my Goodreads name except the daughter who organizes my bookshelves for me and sees my stash anyway.)

I love this book. It is my favorite one she has writt..."

I must say I have found another PNR series to glom, The Dragonfire series by Deborah Cooke. I'm reading Darkfire Kiss, and I love what she does with dragons here. The hero is awesome too. He's a thinking woman's paranormal romance hero, sexy but not all id like some of them can be.

Now I don't know what to read...I definitely don't feel like reading any romance (I get like that sometimes.)

Oh, Autumn, that is such a tough question.
Here's the thing, this series is a spinoff of the Drake Sisters series and there are a lot of mentions of the Drake Sisters. As I was reading Water Bound, I kept thinking how I wish I had read Drake Sisters first so I could know who they were, their powers, their relationships, etc.
The thing is, I read the first Drake Sisters story,
but I digress...
So I'm kind of not sure what to tell you. I've decided to go back and try the Drake Sisters again before I read the next book in the Sea Haven series.
Now, I do love Feehan's Carpathians,
Wow... a lot more information than you were asking for!
And the thing with Sea Haven series, I didn't miss anything by reading Water Bound first, in that I wasn't lost, but there were a lot of references to the Drake sisters and I think that had I read their stories first, it would have enhanced Water Bound for me.
