I just read Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor for the umpteenth time...we went to Seattle last week and drove to Vancouver from there, I fell in love with the whole area and had to explore through LK's book...cannot wait for the next installment in this series.
I just started Ken Follet's Fall of the Giants last night. Fall of GiantsI'll let you know how it goes. Pillars of the Earth and World Without End were great.
Bekah, it was just gorgeous...we drove to Whistler and the drive is like going through a nature calendar...snow covered mountains meeting flowing water...amazing!

(its kinda of vague) because its almost impossible to be more specific without giving away the story, but i thought it was remarkably original the way it was written.
Happy reading.!

Such a sweet story.. I can't remember who mentioned this, but they were right: it did remind me a bit of Practical Magic:-D
Heidi wrote: "Just started

@Bekah: thx for the link.. I think I'll try to get around to it this month, it does look sweet:-D@Autumn: I've read all three of SAA's books that are out already (started with The Girl who Chased The Moon which I loved), enjoyed them all and am anxiously waiting for her next book:-) Seriously though? your first romance? what kind of romance to you enjoy now?
@Carol: I enjoyed all the ones you've read, especially LOS and Lord Perfect (not crazy about YSW though, definitely not her best, IMO).. But yes, you definitely need to read Mr. Impossible and Miss Wonderful, which are two of my faves as well:-D (NQaL is also very good). Mr. Impossible is hilarious!

Melanie: I agree with you about YSW - definitely not up to her usual standard. I must get Mr Impossible, it sounds like it will be a great read.

I enjoyed YSW- not so much the one with Zoe as heroine though. The word harem was severely overused and whilst I cackled a lot I dodn't want to go back to it. Mr I is a real giggle. Miss W I found so-so.
