For me audiobooks are slower than reading a book. But for people that are very slow readers, they may be faster. Ohh Lucky u!! i dont know if i read fast or not.. but i get by i guess.. xxxx

Once you get the gift card, you can apply it to your Amazon account even if you're not going to buy anything today. Then it stays there and it applies the value for anything you purchase in the future (I've done that.)
I wish I could buy more!!! I know when someone buys you an ebook on amazon, if they send it to an address where your kindle is NOT registered, you have to call amazon and have it changed. I wonder if the gift card is the same.

Yep! I have my kindle registered at an email address that I only use for business stuff. A friend asked for my email address, but I didn't know why, so I gave her my friend email address. Turns out she wanted to send me a book and then had to contact amazon and have them fix it so it applied to my kindle address.
