I'm just reading
, which is F/F erotica. So far is very repetitive and assumes the reader has no knowledge of the world at all.

I liked Mr. Perfect, Carolyn. It was funny, sweet and sexy, too. It won't go down in history as the best book ever, but still good!

I took a break from the F/F erotica and started At Last Comes Love. It has some original points but I don't know that I'll keep reading much Balogh in the future.
D.G. wrote: "I took a break from the F/F erotica and started At Last Comes Love. It has some original points but I don't know that I'll keep reading much Balogh in the future."I'm feeling the same way D.G. though I need to finish the series first. Let me know how you like At Last Comes Love.
I bought
today because everyone on here has been raving about it, but I'm not going to read it quite yet.
reading
, loving the banter and the chemistry! It's my first Gena Showalter, and I'm so glad I like it because I've bought a LOT of her books w/o knowing if I like her or not!! eeek.so far so good.
Laura wrote: "I bought

I like her writing style a lot- her prose is just so uncluttered (thinks of Gaelen Foley and shakes her head).

Dhes, if you liked it that much I gotta buy it!

This series has just been meh for me and I'm not at all excited about Merton's book. I'm thinking of skipping it and going directly to Con's book mainly because I want to see Con and Moreland reconcile.

Thanks Heidi, I'm not very far into it yet but I'm not sure what to expect with Harriet dressed as a man. They have just arrived to Lord Strange's home.

It's good. Not the best. It's more erotica then romance to be honest. Not what I was expecting to get. lol LOTS of sex scenes.
Also I'm no expert on this but I find the diction/words used in this out of place, inaccurate for the time setting. Anyone else read this?

I loved this book! I think this was the best from her Desperate Duchess series. The plot is ridiculously fun. I felt the same way when I started reading it but it turns out really great. Keep going you'll see. ;)
Melody wrote: "Also I'm no expert on this but I find the diction/words used in this out of place, inaccurate for the time setting. Anyone else read this?" I have quite a big problem with this in a few books. I'll tolerate a certain level but the one I'm reading at the moment is hitting the stage of throw it out of the window for historical hopelessness.

This is the only book I own by EJ, and I know its in a series, but can it be read as a stand alone or should I try to get the others/is it worth it?
