I loved it. I've read all three books, but needed a good reread. I like Lori Foster becuase she is right between romance and erotica in her writing style, which just makes a very hot romance. I'm hoping my library books come in soon because what I have at home is just not interesting me at the moment.
I think book 2 is even better than book 1, which I loved also.
D.G. wrote: "You know, I don't think I've ever read Lori Foster! Where do you guys recommend I start?"Great question!
yep...Same here Beckah. However, i tried a novella.. a recollection of various authors.. and man was that painful to finish..
... !! idk IMO was just dreadful. maybe i need to give her another chance??ps: whats with the
cover?? are those pears?? they looked like weird tangled naked limbs *shivers* LOL!
D.G. wrote: "You know, I don't think I've ever read Lori Foster! Where do you guys recommend I start?"The SBC boys are great (modeled on the UFC):-) Causing Havoc, Too Much Temptation or Say No To Joe?.. All great:-D
Well Too Much Temptation proved to be too much temptation for me because it sounds really good. So I bought it.
Bekah wrote: "Well Too Much Temptation proved to be too much temptation for me because it sounds really good. So I bought it."LOL, Bekah!
I added them to my reminder list on PBS and I'll get a copy next year (I've just ordered like a gazillion books today!)
Bekah wrote: "Well Too Much Temptation proved to be too much temptation for me because it sounds really good. So I bought it."I hope you like it. Its a really fun series.

Katherine wrote: "Started reading
last night. Another series I have not read in order, some day I will learn."I loved that one. I can't quite analyse why as Benedict wasn't necessarily my favourite hero but the whole book just worked so well for me. A definite 5 star from me although I know many people don't rate it that highly.
Mshj, I read Colin's story first and fell in love with him so wasn't expecting much from this book. But I have to say that I am loving it. I'm only on page 120 so there is much more to happen.

I just finished my last November challenge book

Now I am reading
because it is finally December. LOLAtumn I will definitely read the rest of the series.
Katherine wrote: "What a fun place to start your Historical Romance journey. Did you read the rest of the series? "Yup, I read them all. I would have liked to start at the beginning without knowing who was Lady W!
I'm also reading
i've just started 'Devil's Desire' by Laurie McBain - a bit old fashioned with all the back story in the first two chapters and havent met the hero yet, but I'm sticking with it.
I'm reading Judith McNaught's "Almost Heavenly" following a mention by someone on here. That's about where I'd pitch it too (almost heavenly!)- somewhere between a 4 and a 5. I've got 100 pages to go- I'd have finished it today if the train hadn't been standing room only to Exeter. Lovely to find a book with over 500 pages of denseprinted text.
I'm right now reading
by Teresa Medeiros and I gotta say I'm disappointed. Not what I was expecting. :(
Read
today, loved all three: 4.5*, 5* and 5*:-)I was shocked(;-p) about Coltrain's Proposal in WiW... It's the first time I've seen Diana Palmer use the word "manhood", lol!!
Katherine wrote:Atumn I will definitely read the rest of the series. "thats great! did u know they have second Epilogues?? first time ive seen that done..LOL! that family B is crazy lot!

"I've read the first book and the second book is in my TBR pile (been there for a LONG time). What is the relationship between the couple in the third book to the first book? I had read the first book a LONG time ago, so I'm trying to see what's the connection because I thought it was only two books for that series.
