After finishing Pamela Clare's I-Team book,
I moved on to my first Elizabeth Hoyt read
which was really quite sweet. Now I'm reading

You will love it Carolyn! Just to warn you, Jamie is way hotter in my head than in the book, lol, but it is still good.
I'm interested to find out what you think about Sweet Release, Katherine. Everything I've read by this author, I've loved, but I haven't read this one.
I read
The Duke by Gaelen Foley this weekend because UM Dhestiny recommended it. This was a fantastic read with a sweet sincere romance, tight plot and authentic period details. I'm going to read more of Foley's Knights series.
Beverly, YAY! I'm so glad you loved it!!! I agree with everything you said about it. It was just fantastic! I'm also looking forward to reading more :)
Beverly wrote: "I read

Oh I've wanted to read The Duke for ages! I need to get myself a copy.Right now I'm reading
, the 4th book in the Mercy Thompson series. OMG! I loove this series! Anybody who reads paranormal and hasn't read this, please give it a try!
Well I just finished Love In The Afternoon, and I just loved reading Beatrix's books, it was wonderful!!!

. Loved it!"I just realized I have this book at home. Glad to know you liked it.
Renee wrote: "Well I just finished Love In The Afternoon, and I just loved reading Beatrix's books, it was wonderful!!!"Wasn't that an awesome book? LK ended her series with a wonderful story.
Now I'm reading
. Oh my goodness! The art inside - where they have the hero and heroine - it's one of the hottest I've ever seen. I usually don't pay attention to this but this is so freaking hot. First the guy is just scrumptious - blond with longish hair and sideburns, tall, strong and and he's naked. She's on top of him and she's covering his naughty bits with the purple dress (the one she's wearing on the cover) but the dress is even more open, and her hair is down. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what you're saying, D.G. is the step-back is worth the prince of the book all on it's own? LOL Better head back to Target just to look at the book!
Had to stop reading
because I was getting more and more depressed reading it. Now on to fluffy with
.

That is a hot cover! Let us know how you like the book!
Sweet Mary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for posting the stepback!! We have a thread here in the group for stepbacks, if you want to post it there, too.
I'm reading
... almost done with the McKettricks, only one more after this one. Can't wait to finish with this series & start with her Stone Creek series, since I much rather her historical westerns. Also listening to

You're welcome! I'll have to read this one just for the cover! ;)

It's a good job that wasn't the front cover otherwise you would have to cover it with brown paper if you wanted to read in public!! LOL

BTW, Wendy just (as in last night I believe, brand new!) started a LLM Fan Group if you are interested.

Christine S. wrote: "You're welcome! I'll have to read this one just for the cover!"Just know thaat if you are going to read that book, you MUST read Lord Perfect, which is where Olivia & Lisle meet (as children.) They are a very integral part of LP and I think they make more sense as a couple if you know their background.
I always tear out any inside cover art like that! I don't want to have to explain it to the kids and I don't need those sort of pictures on my books- my imagination is pretty capable! The UK editions don't usually have covers/inside art like that so it must be our inner prudishness showing through.

I'll start with
.... I just have to read a series in order! lol! This series is on my TRB pile, I actually have them on my Kindle, just haven't had the chance to read them yet. Too many books & too little time!
Great then! Reading in order is always best! Also because Rupert & Daphne from Mr. Impossible have a lot of influence in Lisle's life. MI and LP are so far my favorites in the series...specially MI which I think has the best title ever. ;)
D.G. wrote: "Great then! Reading in order is always best! Also because Rupert & Daphne from Mr. Impossible have a lot of influence in Lisle's life. Christine- you may have to persevere with the first one - it is my (and many peoples) least favourite of the series.

I'm reading
. The conversations between Bud and his... man-self... are some of the funniest I've read.

It was enjoyable - I have it 3 stars. Not the best I've read, but a fun quick book.
I'm am getting into historical series that I've not read in the past. Last night I read
. Other than wanting to slap Nicholas, it was an enjoyable read and I'll probably continue with the Malory series until book 7 (A Loving Scoundrel). Recent works haven't been rated that high. I'm also still reading Gaelen Foley's Knights Misc. series and loving Lord of Fire. I just ordered a bunch of Liz Carlyzle, Lorraine Heath and Loretta Chase. I love series. I have to read them all in order, even the weaker ones. I tried to skip Miss Wonderful but I just couldn't.
Bekah wrote: "I'm finishing up

I think I'm the ony person in the face of the earth who hasn't read The Prize. Right now I'm reading the first book for my challenges: Bright Lights, Big Ass: A Self-Indulgent, Surly, Ex-Sorority Girl's Guide to Why it Often Sucks in the City, or Who are These Idiots and Why Do They All Live Next Door to Me? by Jen Lancaster. What a hoot! This woman is nuts.
