I'm going to look for some of her other stuff now. I'm so picky about new authors!!
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "Really, check out Lord of Scoundrels. It's very, very good!"Already on my list! LOL!!
Suzanne wrote: "I have just started reading
, am determind to finish this trilogy"I'm about to start the trilogy. I have all three ready to go. I've just finished
which is the book before one little secret (Alasdair is on Devil to Pay and is the lead in "one little" I think).
Mandy wrote: "I just finished
and am not sure what I'm up to next. I've a list somehwere . . ."I've got half way through this and halted. I'll try to finish it tonight. I don't know why I stopped- it's a fun romp but it's strange to read about them as grown up when they were kids in Lord Perfect.
Mandy wrote: "Oh! I didn't realize this was part of something else. Is the Lord Perfect part of LoS?"No- Lord Perfect is part of the Carsington series and Last Night's Scandal is the, er, fifth in that trilogy.
Lord of Scoundrels ties into
LOS is before TLH.
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "I read LoS out of order and had no trouble at all."It's NOT like Outlander vis a vis reading books out of order for sure!
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "I read LoS out of order and had no trouble at all."Oh, see I get palpitations just THINKING about reading out of order! LOL!!
And I LOVE that I can use that word here and everyone understands me! LOL!!
Mshj wrote: I'm about to start the trilogy. I have all three ready to go. I've just finished...I didn't know that there was a prequel! I get these from my library so will have to see if they have that one aswell.
Alasdair is the lead in "One Little Secret" I quite liked it, I don't normally like histroicals where the hero is a complete rakehell, but I enjoyed this book, I hope you do too!
yeah! just got an email from the library saying
came in. I literally did a happy dance to my coworkers amusement, lol.
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "LOL!!!!! So you're a MRBIOS sufferer, too? (Must Read Books In Order syndrome.)"Sadly, yes!
I have several of Feehan's Carpathians but have only read the first 5 bc the others I have all come way down the line!

I'm working my way through Liz Carlyle from the beginning. Anyhow I find whilst I'm enjoying her books I prefer her more upright heroes- especially Walrafen and Camden Rutledge (book covers below). I like dastardly/bad boy heroes but not rakes.
Megan aka *Mheghan* wrote: "yeah! just got an email from the library saying

I will have to give those a try Mshj, I prefer that kind of hero aswell, espcially the dangerous ones! I am kind of liking Two Little Lies at the moment, but am having trouble getting into it, I don't know if it is the book, or if I am just not in the mood to read it. i want to start
, but am determined to finish off my cache of library books!

I loved the other Wallflowers and can't wait to start this one. It seems like I have been waiting forever for this book to come in, but I guess its only been a week or so, lol. I'm impatient when it come to series.

The library will let you keep it for 3 weeks plus you can usually renew twice. Just a thought!
Carolyn, how was "Naughty Bits" by Delilah Devlin? I ADORE her western erotica. She is my fav!! And I haven't heard about "Naughty Bits." Did you like it? Is it western or contemporary?
Laura wrote: "Carolyn, how was "Naughty Bits" by Delilah Devlin? I ADORE her western erotica. She is my fav!! And I haven't heard about "Naughty Bits." Did you like it? Thanks, Carolyn. I'll check out your review! ;) Have you read much of her stuff? Let me know and if you haven't I'll list some of my fav cowboy/western erotca books of hers.
I got
and
from the library yesterday. Finished Lord Ian this morning and OMGosh!!! he's sooo dreamy! Just loved him. Can't wait to dig in with Mac and Isabella!
Laura wrote: "Thanks, Carolyn. I'll check out your review! ;) Have you read much of her stuff? Let me know and if you haven't I'll list some of my fav cowboy/western erotca books of hers."Thanks Laura, that will be great. I have a few more of her books still coming from the library.
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "Ian will always be a top hero for me. I adore him!I'm reading
because
was so, so good!"Hmm . . .I think I could work those into my September challenges! I'm going to go check them out.
I reviewed ORS, Carolyn, and I marked spoilers, so it should be safe to read. It's a very, very steamy read but such a good story!
Just looked up One Reckless Summer, I am glad that you mentioned it UM as it slots very nicely into a challenge! I couldn't find a summery book and this fietted perfectly : )
Carolyn, awesome review! I didn't realize it was an anthology. I adore anthologies! In fact Delilah Devlin writes novella anthologies for Aphrodisia where she'll have 3 of her western novellas in one book. Some of these are like that. Here are my favs of hers:--Down in Texas
--Wild Women of the West 1
--Wild Women of the West 2
--Damned, Delicious & Dangerous (vamps...awesome!)
--Texas Men
--Saddled
--Obsessed
I just bought an anthology with a novella of hers in it called "A Hot Man is the Best Revenge" but haven't read it yet.
Laura wrote: "Carolyn, awesome review! I didn't realize it was an anthology. I adore anthologies! In fact Delilah Devlin writes novella anthologies for Aphrodisia where she'll have 3 of her western novellas i..."AWESOME read Laura. Shiloh Walker's story in that one is a fave of mine.
OMG! Mandy, this is too funny, isn't it? I'm talking Feehan with you on Twitter right now and Hot Man anthology at GR. Love it!Thanks for the rec. I think I will move this anthology up in my TBR pile. Good to know about the Walker novella. Thx, gf!!

I am starting
today. I got a TON of books from the library on Monday and I've already read two of them! I think I'm in love with my librarian. She took my list of TBR's and took my card and put me down for all the ones I needed. Yay!

I've made a note of the books, thanks Laura.
I don't normally care for anthologies because I feel like they get to the "meat" too quickly, totally skipping over the "potatoes".
