I am hoping it is! I loved Lord Ian and am always afraid the sequel will not live up to my expectations!! Let me know when you are finished what you think-I plan to order it anyways-but it's always easier to open the cover when you know it's good!!

That was my fear, too, Becky. With Ian being one of my all time favorite reads, I was worried my expectations would be too high for Mac's story. I'm only on page 48, but it's really good, so far.
I know, that sucks! She's writing 2 or 3 other series at the same time. She needs to stop that crap and devote her time solely to the Mackenzies!I say you write to her immediately and set the new terms.
Let us know how that goes, will ya? LOL

LOL, um, no! I don't want to piss her off. But I totally agree with you, I want more of this series, and more HR from her for that matter.

Well, you're no help at all, are you? LOL
Well, I'm not one to call the kettle black, because I sure don't want to tell her what to do!But we both know we wish we had a say in how fast the books come out. She'd never leave her house if I had my way. She'd be writing Mackenzies til they are totally through. LOL

LOL! I wish that not only for this series, but other series and other authors. Waiting for months or a year for a new release always kills me!

I'm trying to catch up on some series I started and this was on my list. I haven't read a YA book in forever, but I was getting burned out on historical romances and I really enjoyed the first Artemis Fowl book. This book is good so far. If anyone knows any good contemprary romances, let me know. I need some recommendations. I've read and loved Lisa Kleypas and Linda Lael Millers contemporary books, but I'm not sure which author to try next.
hmm, haven't really read to much romantic suspense, but I suppose I need to branch out eventually. I've been stuck on "men-in-kilt" and "men-in-spurs" books for too long I think, lol.
Well, if you decide to try some RS, check out Cindy Gerard's Bodyguards series, as well as her BOIs (Black Ops, Inc.) I really like those. Lora Leigh does a RS series called Tempting SEALs and then the offshoot of that series is EliteOps. I like both of those. If you're going to skip TS and go straight to EOs, I'd still read the last book in TS because the hero in the 1st book of EOs is featured in the last book of TS. If you need more information, just holler. I'll be happy to help!
To Megan aka *Mheghan*, Danielle, and UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~*, I'm with you on Artemis Fowl, I've read all the books until the latest and I enjoyed it. There's something different about Eoin Colfer's writing and humor that does it for me.And for those who're into romantic suspense, try Christina Dodd's "Lost Texas Hearts" series, and Suzanne Brockmann's "Gone Too Far".

Carolyn, I did like it and can't wait to read Devil in Winter. This is a really fun series.

I love this book Suzanne. I had read some people didn't like Annwyl, but I thought she was great. So unlike all the other female heroines I've read. I've got 2 more books and the short story 2.5 book which I plan on reading very soon.
I finally broke down and started Pamela Clare's I-Team series. The first book is Extreme Exposure and it's so, so good.I'll be honest, I love Pamela Clare and figured I'd love this series, so I put off reading it because I don't want it to end. Does that make sense? LOL

I was impressed with Extreme Exposure. I didn't think I would like a book with a reporter and a politician. They are two professions I don't tend to have the best feelings about. Ms. Clare is on Goodreads and she was nice enough to message me about my review. Thankfully, she was no offended that I said how I felt about those two jobs. She used her experiences to write a very good story, and I ended up liking Kara and Reece a lot.
Was/is Ms. Clare a reporter? I wasn't aware. One of the things that I'm loving is that this isn't your typical romantic suspense novel. Going in I had no idea that this wasn't another soldiers, cops, firefighters, etc., read, but it's that difference that I'm finding most intriguing and appealing about the book.
Do the characters appear in subsequent novels?

I've only read the first book, but I think so. Ms. Clare was a reporter. I don't know if she still is.
Thank you for the information! I've heard book 1 is, as is often the case, the weakest of the series. If that's true, I've got a few excellent books to read now.

I've read 10 out of 13 of the McKettricks, which are really good. They follow generations of the McKettricks throughout their romances. Its great to see the generations continuing and how they all take it serieously "to be a McKettrick", and they love their family history.
Ive also read the first 3 Creed books. They are good too. They follow 3 brothers and their love lives.
I'm only halfway through book 2 in the Stone Creek series. It is a good western romance.
I'm trying to read all the series because I read somewhere that LLM is writing a new book that combines 2 of her favorite series, "A Creed in Stone Creek."
My favorite series are the McKettricks and the Creeds. I especially like the contemporary books, but the historicals are excellent too. I think LLM is like Lisa Kleypas:It's impossible for them to write a bad book.
All her books are kinda interconnected too. You can check our my reviews too if that would be helpful for you.
Wow you don't do things halfway. LOL Thanks so much for all the information, this is very helpful. I just finished Tate and need to buy Austin and Garrett. I also need to copy this list. Thanks again.

That's another series I've yet to start. I have them here, just haven't read them yet. *sigh* So many books.
I just finished
. Starts out a little boring, but about 1/4 way in gets a lot better. Now I've got to grab a library book before I my time's up.

The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes by, ah-hum, Anne Stuart, Jennifer Crusie, Eileen Dreyer. I have to put AS first because she's why I'm reading it. :)It's very good. The guys are sexy, I like the sisters, and it has good humor.
