Avery walked into Care of Magical Creatures. There was apparently no seating chart here, and he sat down next to Anni. "Hey."

Anni smiled at the Gryffindor kid as he sat down next to her. She didn't know very many people yet, even from just her own dorm, but it was still just the beginning of school. "Hi."

Avery watched Anni go. So much for learning her name, he thought. But being rude to Lauren wasn't nice. He turned to her. "Nice to meet you, too. I'm Avery."

Avery nodded. "There's nothing wrong with that. I'm a half-blood, but my family doesn't discuss magic much. Though, from what I've read, I think Unicorns would be interesting."
