If you liked it, I suggest another of her works "The Children's Hour" as well as the fantastic film adaptation starring Audrey Hepburn and a very young Shirley Maclain.

Amanda (randymandy) | 83 comments 22. Ecology of a Cracker Childhood by Janisse Ray; December 1, 2010.

I disclaim: I'm adding this book to 2010 because that is when I finished it. I began reading it in the summer of 2009, but put it down. I am glad to be finished as the couple chapters near the end were wildly satisfying (in a way that can only be satisfying for the overdramatic).

Amanda (randymandy) | 83 comments 23. A Cat's LIfe by... well, it's a book of cat pictures and the occasional cuteish caption. I forget who "wrote" it. But I read it. And learned that there are different colored tabbies, like silver and brown and ginger and blue. And that some tabbies are swirly, not just stripey. Do you think that's true? I'd think the swirly ones would be called something else. Anyway... December 26, 2010. Merry Christmas!
