LOL definitely a fluff read. Not a book to "ooh" and "ahh" over haha
I just stared The Society of S by Susan Hubbard. I'm borrowing it from my brother's girlfriend so I should finish it pretty fast.
The Den of Shadows Quartet - Amelia Atwater RhodesThe first book was recommended by a friend. I liked it enough to get the rest of the series. Takes a very different direction than most teen-vampire novels.
I will finally start Succubus Blues tonight. I've been wanting to read it forever. Finally have a reason since it's part of a challenge! lol

I keep wanting to start the psy-changling series, but I keep putting it off. :(
My husband read Succubus Blues and said that it was surprisingly good! He keeps trying to get me to read it, but whenever he suggests a book to me... I end up finding it to be boring. Let me know if it's good!

So far so good...of course I'm only a few chapters in. I started it once a long time ago and never got into it. I like it better this time around. lol
You should really try the Psy-Changling series. It's a different type of paranormal/scifi series. I love it.

Maybe I'll request it from the library. I tend to be a little more hesitant when beginning a new paranormal series. IDK why, because I honestly love PR.
Oh, I started reading Beastly by Alex Flinn, and its a cute easy read. It's a good book to read before bed or on the beach.
I also started reading fanfic about Qhuinn and Blay from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. It's not bad, and it's written by a Goodreads member. If anyone is interested...

I'm only on Ch. 7 but it's decent, and it's helping with my BDB withdrawal!

At the moment I can't really decide what to read so I have to that I'm going back and forth between until I make a decision...and since I'm visitng the library tomorrow I'll probably change my mind. But anyway for now I'm reading Passion Play and The Solitaire Mystery
Rereading The Great Gatsby because I don't think I fully appreciated it the first time around in high school.
I finished Breaking Dawn and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella by Stephenie Meyer, so I've move on to School's Out - Forever by James Patterson. Since it's also a library book.
I just finished reading Hex Hall, and I enjoyed it! Now, I am desperately trying to figure out what to read on my weekend trip to St. Louis... I have like 14 books checked out from the library so I am going to bring a few of them with me but I can't decide which ones. Maybe I will post in the "What should I read next..." thread to get some help! :)

Symmet..." I really liked The Time Traveler's Wife. It's been several years since I've read it but I remember I was pretty interested throughout the whole story. I think Her Fearful Symmetry might have kept me even more entertained. I liked the characters a lot. I would definitely recommend it.
I'm about to begin reading Hush, Hush, A Kiss at Midnight, and A Chalice of Wind. Has anyone read these? I'm trying to decide which one to read first...
I just started Evermore. So far I like it, even though it's similar to Twilight I like the storyline a bit more.
The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress - Robert A. HeinleinThe Proteus Operation - James P. Hogan
Both SF, Heinlein because it's the SF and Fantasy Book Club read for October, Hogan because it was strongly recommended by a friend.
I just finished Kay Hooper's Whisper of Evil. Love this series.Going to start The Fall by Guillermo Del Toro tonight before bed.
I just finished A Chalice of Wind and Hush, Hush. I thought Chalice of wind was okay, but I loved Hush, Hush!
I just started reading Blue Is For Nightmares, but I'm not far enough into the book to decide if I like it yet...

Yeah so I was fond of Evermore when I finished, I liked it alright but it was too much like Nightworld for me to really like it. I started Fable: The Balverine Order by Peter David a few hours ago in an attempt to catch up with my boyfriend. It's based off of a video game series and so far I'm loving it as much as I love the games.
I'm reading Avempartha by Michael J. Sullivan VERY VERY good. He has a way of making his stories effortless - a great storyteller with characters you really would want to hang out with.
I finished The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, I enjoyed it a lot it was pretty different from other books I've read. I started Evernight by Claudia Gray since it's last one of last week's library books that I need to read.

Michelle, I really enjoyed The Graveyard Book!!
Elvia wrote: "Michelle, I really enjoyed The Graveyard Book!!"It was wonderful, and a perfect read for October. I might check out more of Gaiman's books when I get the chance.
Michelle wrote: "It was wonderful, and a perfect read for October. I might check out more of Gaiman's books when I get the chance."I've only read Coraline and part of the first graphic novel Preludes and Nocturnes. I'm about halfway thru American Gods. It's really good so far.
I just finished The Giver and I liked it. It was a very interesting world!I should be starting Sense of Evil (Evil, #3) tomorrow. We'll see.
Jo wrote: "I'm reading The Moth Diaries"That looks like a good one. I just added it to my TBR pile. Let me know if it is as good as it sounds please.
Yas - I hope you enjoy The Gargoyle - Please let me know what you thought of it when done - I started it once but became disinterested quickly so I've put it down -- if you think it is worth it I would be willing to "give it another try".

Sense of Evil is a great book! I love Kay Hooper!

Sense of Evil is a great book! I love Kay Hooper!
Besserwisser: A Novel - Steve AndersonI "met" the author here on goodreads and decided to give it a try.
Joy wrote: "Sense of Evil is a great book! I love Kay Hooper! "I do too!! The series is fantastic so far!
Autobiography of a Recovering Skinhead: Frank Meeink's Story as Told to Jody M. RoyThe Malacca Conspiracy - Don Brown
I just finished Shadows of the Empire and so since I really enjoyed it (and because I have two boxes full of them) I am going to read another Star Wars book called Path of Destruction by Drew Karpyshyn. Also I'm starting Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson.
A little over half way thru Sense of Evil (Evil, #3). I can't get enough of this series!I'm not sure what's next...have 3 books to pick up at the library tomorrow so we'll see.
Just finished I Shall Wear Midnight by Terry Pratchett. I'm re-reading Among the Shadows by L.M. Montgomery.
I'm reading A Kiss at Midnight on audiobook before bed every night. It's not bad, but I don't feel the chemistry between the characters, and the book is a little disjointed. I am also listening to Bitten on audiobook. I'm still early in the book, but it has potential.
