Just finished Lover Mine and started The Last Song. Lover Mine was amazing as books in the Black Dagger Brotherhood generally are, and The Last Song is proving to be better than I expected. I may have to give more Nicholas Sparks books a try if this turns out well.

So I finished Blackwood Farm and The Awakening. I enjoyed Blackwood Farm as I do most Vampire Chronicle book, and The Awakening was...alright, good enough for me to continue the series.I started The Lightning Thief and I'm going to start The Struggle either later today or tomorrow.
I'm still reading The Girl Who Played with Fire, I'm really enjoying it.
I am currently reading "Glass" by Ellen Hopkins. I am almost halfway through. I just started reading "Between Sisters" by Kristin Hannah
I finally finished the Chronicles of Narnia, although I rushed through most of The Last Battle. Too many fight scenes.I'm now going to read The Hallowed Huntand finish up that series.
Well I finished The Fury about 10 minutes ago. I'll probably start Dark Reunion soon, though I haven't decided yet.I did start The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan last night though. I haven't made it far but seeing as I'm once again reading two lenghty books at once I'm going to finally finish The Girl Who Played with Fire.
I just finished Changes and LOVED IT!Now decisions need to be made...do I start Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal, Covet, or Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5)?? Grr...I can't decide.
I'm reading Like Water for Chocolate: A Novel in Monthly Installments with Recipes, Romances, and Home Remedies in spanish. It's a charming story, with a lot of pain too, told in the middle of recepies! I'm hearing the audiobook of My Sister's Keeper and it really makes me think. And in portuguese I'm reading A Menina que Roubava Livros, which is excelent and very well written.
The Second Coming = David H. BurtonThe author posted an invitation to read his book in one of the Kindle readers groups. It's a fantasy-horror novel.
I finished Vampire Academy and I've started The Heretic Queen. Michelle Moran is part for the Historical Fashionistas group and it'd been nice gettinig to talk to her about her novels.
Night Huntress,Jeaniene FrostI am doing my millionth reread of these books.
They are definitly my fav series anymore, besides Bones makes my bones melt.
Still reading American Gods (3 chapters a week). I finished Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5) and loved it. I will be starting Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal tomorrow. Heard it was good so we'll see. Love Christopher Moore so I'm guessing it'll be good.
I finished The Girl Who Played with Fire and loved it, I'll make sure to get the third and final one when I can. I'm still reading The Great Hunt, I'm moving slow with it though. I also just started Dark Reunion so I can finish the series out (not sure if I'll start the second set)

But I gave it a chance, and even thought it's a little young, I really really liked the series

I recently made a list of books I've not read or not read in years that I compiled of lists of must read books. I am starting out with The Unbearable Lightness of Being Milan Kundera. I am just a few chapters in but so far I am intrigued. Hoping to have it done by next week so I can start on Shopgirl Steve Martin.
I just finished a reread of Succubus Blues.I will reread the whole series, seems I would rather reread than start something new. This strange malady seems to get me every once in awhile.
I seldom see the series listed as favs or even talked about much, maybe because of the moral questions about the heroines job description? But she is such a good writer I really like these books.

I love this series. It is one of my faves.
I just started Blood Canticle by Anne Rice yesterday (3 am right now, lol). I haven't moved very far into it yet but I'm fairly sure I'm going to like it, plus it's a hardback so fewer pages. Still reading The Great Hunt and will be for sometime I think.I'm thinking of starting up The Lunatic Cafe (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #4)
I finished The Hallowed Hunt and had to read the last 2-3 chapters twice to really understand it. However, I did like it and the type of magic used in the book. Now I'm reading The Farthest Shore.
I am reading
enjoying so far. Wasnt sure what to expect from this book, but it has a slightly magical feel that I like..
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest - Steig Larsson Woke up to it having downloaded this morning!
Milrose Munce and the Den of Professional Help - Douglas Anthony Cooper
Hilarious Free Kindle Download
I just finished reading Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead. This is one of my favorite series, but I felt a little let down. I wanted more of my favorite character, who unfortunately was not in the book as much as I would like. However, I still love the series. :)
I saw "Prince of Persia" in theaters yesterday, and now I have an extremely large urge to read a fantasy novel. Still searching for which one though... Any suggestions?

I just finished Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal. I loved this book. Made me laugh almost the entire time. I'm still reading American Gods. I think I'm going to start Kitty's House of Horrors tomorrow.
Currently reading The Well of Tears. The pacing is a little distracting. I didn't mind the mini stories in the The Ill-Made Mute but they are driving me crazy in this story.
I started reading The Magician's Apprentice by Trudi Canavan. So far, I like it, but I am still waiting for some action. It's a little slow paced...
I'm currently reading Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. This is the first book written by hers that I've read and so far, I'm loving it! I couldn't put it down. :)

Hi Jackie,
How are you liking this book so far? I'm thinking of reading this too. :)

I really enjoyed it and can't wait to read the sequel. In my opinion you should read it!
Okay, I have to say that if anyone is thinking about reading The Magician's Apprentice by Trudi Canavan... be prepared for it to be different than the synopsis states. I was expecting magic, action, and a small romantic twist. So far, I am almost halfway through the book and there hasn't been any action or romance, and very little magic. :( Instead, the book focuses a lot of politics and government. I LOVED Trudi Canavan's Black Magician series, but this series just does not live up to her name. :(
Well, The Magician's Apprentice is definitely getting better. It's not focused on politics anymore... thank god!
The Dispossessed: An Ambiguous Utopia = Ursula K. LeGuin for Goodreads Sci Fi and Fantasy Book Club June selection
I finished The Lunatic Cafe (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #4) about an hour ago. So I started The Cat Who Blew the Whistle by Lilian Jackson Braun.
