Cindi - I still can't decide if I "liked" it, but I really enjoyed reading it! It was nothing like I expected, but I thought it was very interesting. I found myself really drawn into the characters and I was a little sad when it ended, but at the same time, it was a bit weird, too. I think you should read it - I would love to hear your take on it! :)

What did you think? I had such ambivalent feelings for this book!

I agree! I really enjoyed reading it, but I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. It seemed a little anti-climactic for me. (Did I spell that right?) :) I think it started off really strong, but when the reality of her storyline caught up with all her interesting history, it was like she didn't know quite what to do with it. It was a fun Halloween read, though!

I loved the history and the scholarship...imagine going to those obscure repositories and seeing ancient texts! But like you, I felt the plot ultimately collapsed!!!
