Hi Liz,

I have watched the first season of TrueBlood Tv series it was close to the book but lost it with the second season is my opinion although the show is also something fun to watch, the books are definitely better. I actually started to enjoy the series with the third book more.

Hi Nida, On the whole 'True Blood' thing - definitely a guilty pleasure... I've yet to try the books (a must, for 2011). I loved the first series, the second was way over the top, but I think the characters are really well written on the show and that keeps you watching.

I've just finished Series 3 (downloaded it)..... I won't say a word, but then if you've read the books you'll know far more than I ;)

Sam, love it that you follow books on magic with books on baking! I can certainly see the connection.

Thanks Liz, there is a surprising overlap with some of them, especially when making cakes for work (gotta keep the boss happy hehe)

Em (emmap) | 2707 comments Oh, I've missed a trick - I didn't think to add cookery books to my list! I always have a constant stream of these on the go... like the sound of the soups, especially given the chilly climate of late!
