12. Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels** 291 pages 02/03
This was fairly entertaining, but dont expect much in the way of thoughtful analasis of the genre. It's just silly observations from a couple of romance loving blogers. It got a old real quick in my opinion.
13.Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase** 357 pages 02/05
Not a favorite for me. The story was disjointed and without any one main driving conflict to be resolved and just fell flat for me. Bummer.
14. Long Hard Ride by Lorelei James***** 287 pages 02/09
Very sweet romance. Loved it!
15. Naked in Death by JD Robb*** 306 pages 02/12
Good read and I will continue with the series but not a favorite. It's almost like the plot was a little too neat. I think I might try the next in the series on audio book.
16. He Loves Lucy by Susan Donovan***** 335 pages 02/20
Great read! I think I decided I wanted to marry the hero maybe 100 pages in :)
17. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin ***** 480 pages 02/21
How can you not love Pride and Prejudice :) I just love the nice slow pacing of the book and how the love story between Mr. Darcy and Lizzy unfolds. Good stuff!
18. Educating Caroline by Patricia Cabot*** 439 pages 02/27
This was cute and fun. I enjoyed both of the main characters very much but it moved a bit slow for me.

19. Whitney, My Love by Judith McNaught***** 736 pages 03/11
Loved it, loved it, loved it! What a roller coaster ride!
24. Night's Master by Tanith Lee*** 188 pages 03/19
This was completely different from anything I have ever read. It reads like several short stories with the one common character being the "night's master" but they build on each other and eventually come full circle. I really enjoy Tanith Lee's work. Very cool sci-fi/fantasy writer.
25. A Rose in Winter by Kathleen Woodiwiss*** 567 pages 03/23
It seems to me that I should have enjoyed this more than I did. All the emelemts were there for me to really love it.... but I just din't. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood for it. I like the beauty and the beast/phantom of the opera element to it and enjoyed Kathleen Woodiwiss's writting as always but..... ??? just can't put my finger on it. Oh well.
26. Maurice by E.M. Forster***** 256 pages 03/27
Although I can't really relate to the subject matter, this novel was beautifully written and a joy to read. True art.
27. A Heart So Wild by Johanna Lindsey **** 352 pages 03/31
This was the most enjoyable romance I have read in a while. A nice easy read with a great couple!

28.Butterfly Tattoo by Deidre Knight ***** 296 pages 04/11
Oh, oh, oh.... soooo good! A woman who survived an attempted murder and a bisexual man trying to heal after the death of his life partner. What a beautiful and unconventional romance novel. Loved it!

1. Branded by Fire by Nalini Singh**** 345 pages 01/03
This was by far my favorite of the series so far! I just loved the way the relationship between Mercy and Reiley came together!
2. Passion by Lisa Valdez***** 336 pages 01/06
This is a keeper! Beautiful!
3. Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K Hamilton** 368 pages 01/11
This was a fairly entertaining quick read but I will not bother with anymore in this series. The progression of events didn't even really make sense to me. I could not really understand Anita's motives for anything she did.
4. Gypsy Legacy: The Marquis by Denise Patrick**** 304 pages 01/14
Grabbed this for free for my new Kindle. What a fun unexpected treat! I will be purchasing the other two books in this series.
5. Kilmeny of the Orchard by L.M. Montgomery***** 144 pages 01/15
A fun trip down memory lane. I read this in probably 5th or 6th grade and loved and and I loved just as much (maybe even more) this time around. Just love L.M. Montgomery. I think I will have to pick up Anne of Green Gables here soon.
6. Rashi's Daughters, Book 1: Joheved by Maggie Anton***** 384 pages 01/16
Beautiful account of the life of French Jews in medieval times. I loved the love story between Joheved and Meir! The way this couple came to have such a tender love for each other from an arranged marriage is just a joy to watch unfold. Very highly recommended. I will be reading the next two installments as soon as I can get my hands on them!
7. Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts*** 314 pages 01/20
I am not sure exactly what it is about this one I was not crazy about. Maybe it was just that the romance happens so quickly (stangers to "I love you" in a month). It was a strong plot and characters and interesting concept and I will read the other two books but it just was not exactly a wow book for me.
8. The Flame and the Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss***** 484 pages 01/21
I enjoyed this much more than I expected too. Loved the characters (even Brandon) loved the development of the love story, loved the overall feel of the book. There is some silly overly flowery language at times and the characters talking to themselves was odd, but I just loved it anyway. I might be alone in this :)
9. Lead Me On by Victoria Dahl**** 344 pages 01/27
Probably the strongest of the series. Jane Morgan is one big mess! I just love a flawed character working through her crap.
10. Faking It by Elisa Lorello***** 220 pages 01/29
Wow! I loved this book so much! This is just a beutiful story about finding yourself and getting real. I couldnt put it down. Very highly recommened.
11. A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught***** 428 pages 01/30
My first Judith McNaught! I have been told too many times to count that she is a sure bet for a great read and after this I have to agree. Looking forward to reading more of her work. :)
