Oh but I am. Missing Asher a bit at this point in the book. Loved his steamy entrance in the beginning.

So far so good! I'm on book five thanks to Audio books.
I've seemed to be able to read them somewhat out of order. Would anyone be able to tell me if they should be read in order of if I can skip around?

I personally would recommend yo uread them in order..you will realize how the characters grow and change.

i agree and recommend reading them in order too. That way you can evolve and know the characters with them. sometimes in the later books they change or something happens to them that you would have know from a previous book. =)

Hi everyone. I'm a new memeber to this group. My name is Aimee, and I'm from the Denver, CO area. I love all the Anita Blake books, but of course have my least and most favorites. I was a little dissapointed with the last couple of books, but I think she's definitely back on track with Kiss the Dead, which I finished a couple of days after it came out. ;-)

Hey all ... I'm new to this group ... I've read all of the Merry & Anita books ... since I first started reading each of these series I've bought the newest book(s) when they first came/come out (in hardcover ... which totally means I'm dedicated) ... I started a re-read of the Anita Blake Series earlier this year I'm stalled out at The Harlequin (mostly because of RAZ's antics in the book that I know are forthcoming ... I'll get through it and still love the shirt off of his back) ... so umm ... yeah ... I follow LKH on Twitter & I'm use her forums so ... I'm pretty much a LKH fanatic!

BTW ... I'm from Ohio (Cincinnati) and live in Fresno, CA

Hi,my name is Anne and I am a complete Hamilton fan and love the Anita & Merry books. Looking forward to the next Merry book at Christmas. Have the Anita Blake series read from start to finish about three times now. I will probably read them all again before the next book comes out.

I love the characters, their interactions, the police work, monsters, violence - I think Laurell is great at writing human interactions.
