a LOT of ppl actually started reading cause of harry potter and twilighti started reading R.L.Stine Fear Street and i STILL enjoy it!

I think I started getting into reading in Kindergarten with the Magic Tree House series. LolMichelle: Thanks; I'm almost always on and I really love talking to all of you everyday.
Dino: Yes, please try to be active; enjoy the group! :)
I used to read fear street all of the time. I used to rent three from the library and then be back that night for more. I thought I was pretending to read but then I used to tell them what they were about an which books were better.
I don't read that fast anymore. I like to enjoy my books.

I like to finish a book in a fast pace, but not too fast where I don't know what I'm reading. If it takes me 3+ weeks to read a book, I'm disgusted because the book will. by then, be boring to a certain extent; at that point, I won't want to read the book as much as before.
Ha; shortest for me is sometime less than 20 hours. Longest time ever for me has been about a month and a half (unfortunately) for Little Women.
I read at a steady pace but take several breaks to rest my eyes and keep a watch on CNN alerts. I like to remember certain thoughts by the characters in the book.Uually read 2 or 3 books per week.
Wow, that's a lot of books. Lol; and yes, really (msg 219). I usually read 1-3 books a wekk, sometimes more if they're "short"---my belief of short of course is like 200-300 pages.
Those are just my definitions of short. My definitions of long are books like The Shapeshifters: The Kiesha'ra of the Den of Shadows, which contains 968 pages. That is the only book I have ever read that long though.
Welcome to the group everyone. I'm home safe from my camping trip. I am no longer sneaking on to see how everyone is doing. Ahh, but the 3 mile hike was nice and the relaxing time by the beach was great. I even got in a few chapters of The Host this weekend.
Only once, Missy laughed because I had 5 bars the whole time. We were supposed to be in the middle of no where. Nope, I was still connected to this world.
Ha, that sounds like me! When I'm out of the country I always try to make it to the internet cafe like once a day. That's not normal for Albanians unless you are single, male and a gamer.
LOL! We are on the same page :)
WOW guysthe shortest time ive taken to read a book
is one day
the longest 3 weeks
i hate taking too long with a book
it gets too boring

Can we take the conversations to Just Talking??
Yes but this is for introductions there is a folder for just talking now.
I know. Which isn't a bad thing. We used to have a place to chat and I'm looking for it. Still can't find it so I made a new place. Enjoy and then it doesn't matter what you talk about :)

I wish they could have had it end better than just letting her stand there and watch her love go off.
Trumpets are blowing. Welcome to our group! I hope you enjoy it here and love it so much that you will be commenting left and right :)
I only bit occasionally. LOL!
Ok, maybe never. But yes, enjoy yourself here!

Hi! I'm Amanda from AZ and have many adopted pets living with me. I love to read almost anything so I don't really have a fave genre, but my favorite books are the ones that can me cry...
Yes, I hve to finish my morality paper without worrying about the next comment as a distraction! :) Goodnight!
Hi! I got an invitation for this group from Ameena a little while back... sometimes takes me a while to follow up on things (work interferes with real life LOL).I'm Dawn, divorced mom of 2 grown boys who have given me 9 grandchildren. I currently live in Green Bay, WI, where I am an admin. asst. for a lawyer. I read just about anything (the exceptions being westerns and hard science).
Looking forward to joining in the conversations.
