I'm 44 and a single dad (yeah, old person alert!) who just found Goodreads a short while ago and I love the site. I'm an aspiring YA author and my first book should be available some time in May. You can read the first two chapters in my writing on my profile — I'd love to have any feedback you care to give. Website etc. will be up soon.

Anyway, thanks again for the invite and I look forward to joining in the discussions!

Hi! I'm reagan from Georgia. Mother of 2 who loves to read just about anything. I just finished Life of Pi and thought it was good. I just started Fade by Robert Cormier. My local library is slow to get anything new and being a little impatient I have been in an awful mood about books lately. But I got a stack yesterday and will post my opinions. I too read Graceling and was not impressed. I read Shiver a while ago and thought it held my interest but that's all. I'm am eagerly awaiting the release of Mockingjay and Cresendo and even Linger...I may reread Shiver beofre it comes out.
