I'll accept that dare whenever I get around to reading the series. Am caught between Dan Brown, Richelle Mead, J.K. Rowling, and Scott Westerfield right now. The last thing I need is a fifth book. :)

message 12: by Jordan (new)

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 2426 comments Scott Westerfeld? Oooh. Which book?

message 16: by Jordan (new)

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 2426 comments My brother got the Warrior Heir, The Wizard Heir, and The Dragon Heir for Christmas. Once he tires of them, they shall be mine. (Insert insane laugh here).
Once Upon a Marigold and Twice Upon a Marigold are cute. I borrowed them from a friend last year. And The Princess and the Hound? Favorite. Book. Ever. The sequel, The Princess and the Bear is good, too.
Have you read anything by Shannon Hale?

message 17: by Miss Amelia (new)

Miss Amelia (missameliatxva) really, you liked the princess and the hound? YAY! i shall read that one first! im glad to know you liked it, so maybe i will too!

message 18: by Mounica (new)

Mounica | 73 comments Guess what I'm reading next? The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy!

i have to read theese soon.
which is the best?

message 20: by Baxter (new)

Baxter (julietrocksmysocks) | 383 comments Read them in order my friend. The Hitchhiker's Guide is first. Oddly enough, the quality of the stories is almost exactly the same as the linear order of them.

★ Jess | 4295 comments Mod
ohk.
I was always going to read them in order, i was just wondering which is the best, so i know what to expect.

message 22: by Mounica (new)

Mounica | 73 comments Baxter, I didn't like the first book enough to continue the series, but maybe I'll read the rest since you say that the series gets better with each book.

message 23: by Jordan (new)

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 2426 comments You didn't like it?
Shuuun. Shun the non-believer. (Had to do that).
Anyway, you should totally keep going).

Actually I meant they get worse as they go. And shame on you. Funniest book ever.

message 25: by Jordan (new)

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 2426 comments Repeat: Shuuun. Shuuun the non-believer.

message 26: by Mounica (new)

Mounica | 73 comments The humor was funny at times, but mostly annoying for me. And the story was clever, but it was just a bunch of random episodes. I don't know, I just didn't like the book.

Oh. OHH. It gets worse? Well, I guess I'm not reading the rest, lol. Sorry. :)

message 28: by Sophia (new)

Sophia If you don't laugh even once throughout the whole book, you have no soul. I loved the Hitchhiker's Guide. Soon I will read the sequels, but for now I have a bunch of other stuff I need to get through. Like the fifteen or so books I've bought and accumulated over time.
