It seems like we're going to have to fight over him girls...
I added The Host to my TBR Kelley Anne.

Well you talked about it and raved about it that I had to add to my list, Sister Mine. LOL

I know I can be quite obsessive sometime, but it's for good reason. Midnight's Daughter is absolutely worth it. And the sequel just came out too!

One week in North America and I was totally used to having my time line in sync with yours. Ofcourse: work. I hope you get it soon and I can't wait to hear how you like it.

Changes made...what was I thinking when I made this original list? I must have thought that either my bank account or my library, one - is bigger than it really is!

Just finished Bengal's Heart (Breed, Book 19/Feline Breed, Book 12) by Lora Leigh, which I gave 3 stars.
The Breed series in general is paranormal romance, bordering on paranormal erotica - especially the earlier books of the series.
This book is the story of Cabal St. Laurent, a Bengal Breed and Cassa Hawkins, Breed reporter.
I enjoyed the read, but didn't get into it as much as previous books in the series. I'll likely still pick up the next one, mostly because the next one is finally about Jonas Wyatt, whom the author has been teasing readers about for a number of books now. :-)

LOL! That's great! Thanks for the laugh! Of course, now how am I supposed to go to bed tonight while I'm thinking of them? hmmm.....might just have some really good dreams!

I sure will. If all goes as planned I should get to it this weekend. I was intrigued by Grimm in the first book, so I hope I will like this one.

Just finished Jim Butchers's Storm Front. This was my first Butcher novel. I now know what the fuss is over, love Harry Dresden.

I know it is, I just hate to think about the book ending. There are just some books that you wait a year for and read it quickly. This is just one of my books that will not last nearly enough as I want. I just can never get enough of the BDB. As soon as I finished LaV, I reread it. Ward one of my favorite authors. I buy, read and repeat her books.

But but but Tara! You know I won't spoil anything. I might tease ("Oh my god, page 136, Oh my God!") but that will be it, tops.
And you can use

Yes, but those 4 books don't come out until May, so you'd have to be a very fast reader to read them for a January challenge. :)

I know. I'm only pulling your leg! ;)

I think we would all be in trouble if that was possible!

Of course since its my idea, I'd have the originals ;)

OOHHH Laura--didn't realize that they were that far out. Perhaps someone has some ARCs? (Advanced Readers Copy) I tend to not list my books (except for the December challenge when Yz was mean to us and MADE us list them, then we couldn't change the books) as I never know what I'm going to be in the mood for--OR what's going to finally come crawling in from the library. Hum, now that I think about it--a bunch of you guys MUST be signing up for my books that I want--otherwise why must I wait for 6 or 7 months to get them in????
I got 30 pages read yesterday. And am not sure I'm going to get many more than that today. UNLESS my foot dr. is backed up for hours again, and I get to finish off a book while sitting in her office. Sometimes I get in and out of her office in 30 minutes--the longest wait I've had was almost 4 hours. I'm still not sure why it was that long, but oh well--I DID get a book and a quarter read that day. :o)
I have a quilting class on Sunday, and I need to get my prep work for that done today, need to hit the grocery store, my cleaning lady is coming (and due any minute), I have the foot dr's appointment and finally must do a LOT of baking. Sigh, I've decided that I have got to lose some weight, so I'm on a diet, and I have to do some prep work for that over the next day or 2, which means lots and lots and LOTS of cooking.

2. Werewolves = [b..."
awe, Flibity--you didn't like Blue Bloods? It was one of the first paranormal series I read and it was one of my favorites. I have only been reading this genre for about a year and I have read so much since then, I would be curious how I would feel about that series after all my "experience". What didn't you like about it?

yeah, the narrator can have a lot to do with the feel of a book. I read New Moon about a year ago. During a car ride over thanksgiving we listened to the audio version of it--because my step son had just finished Twilight and wanted to listen to it. First off, New Moon was my least favorite of the series, but the narrators in the audio version made it have a totally different feel. So, I know what you mean.

I see you're still rereading the Cassie series. Did you get DM today? "
Yeah, my review does have some In The Blood spoilers, but they're pretty mild, nothing too critical. But if you want to have a pure reading experience, which I always recommend, then yes, I would wait on my review.
I haven't had a chance to go to the store yet (stupid job) but I may stop at B&N on the way home for DM. Then again, I may not because it's a pain and I can't read it yet anyway... I will get it this week, though, I promise!
