I didn't like the Twilight books at all. I couldn't get into I Am Number Four. I also didn't like the Fallen and Hush Hush books because the of the way the fallen angel concept was written, very predictable.
Finally someone else who did not like Hush Hush and Fallen. Thank you Venise I thought it was just me.
The Vampire Diaries books are pretty dreadful as is Fallen.I understand why people have said Wicked Lovely is repetative - it is the weakest in the series by far but I enjoyed book 2,3,4.
I've never read Narnia, but the worst books ever are most definitely Evermore. The characters were flat and boring, the plot extremely dumb and chaotic, and the writing was a third grader trying to make sentences. Together with another Danish book, this is the worst I've ever read. Twilight I could at least read without my eyes burning. As for the Inkheart trilogy, I still haven't read Inkdeath, as everyone says it's so bad.
Anna wrote: "As for the Inkheart trilogy, I still haven't read Inkdeath as everyone ones its so bad..."I have to say that I found book 1 by far the weakest. The second and third books were good. Funke is much better when she writes about her Inkheart world than her real world - but I think it is written for a younger audience-not really YA. I'd say up to 12.
honestly i love all ya books it's so hard to fault them but if i had to I'd probably choose "The Chronicals of Narnia".Also I'd have to say "The Lovely Bones" mostly because it scares me and especially after seeing the movie version(nightmares)
And then when you realized that the first book was more or less plagiarized from the Dragonriders of Pern series... Eragon swiftly moves down to lowest low on my list.
Vanessa wrote: "Also I'd have to say "The Lovely Bones" mostly because it scares me and especi..."That doesn't surprise me - I'm pretty sure The Lovely Bones was written as an adult novel - though it's been read by a lot of older teens. I'd be careful who I gave it to. It is scary and the subject is quite adult.

I haven't read any of the rest of then yet. I keep seeing them at the library, but it's been so long since I read the first book, I wanted to read it again before I started the sequel.
I really hated Beautiful Creatures, I read the whole series but it only made me pissed off. I didn't like A Discovery of Witches either, it was so boring and way too long. Also, I loved the first two books in the Evernight series, but Hourglass made me so mad.

Have to agree with The Lovely Bones. Everyone said it was wonderful. I just didn't get the hype.
Has anyone read
? I got sucked into the book and read it in a matter of days, but the writing style just irked me and made me dislike the book greatly. The house of night series is getting worse and worse as the books go on. I love the first book, then the story just went downhill from there.
Also, I now despise the twilight saga. I love the host, but hate all the twilight books. (Mainly because my mother is so obsessed with the books it just made me hate them after the fiftieth time she read them and gushed about things she didn't remember from the series the other times she read it.)
(Sadly, I loved movie 4 part 2.)
I stopped halfway through the first (I would have stopped sooner but i was determined to finish it)
And i hear the second book was even WORST!!
The House of Night series if absolutely horrendous. It was cute in the beginning, I'd say the first three books were ok but then just took a huge nose dive. Also, the Matched Trilogy. Got sucked in by the covers, I mean, look at it!
but unfortunately they are just not at all good. I'm trying to finish the last one and just can't make myself do it.

I loved those books. I can't remember, but I might have actually even liked the second one better. But I listened to them and they were very well performed too.

I liked the first one, but the rest just didn't do it for me. I think it's because everyone has the exact same voice. If the chapter heading didn't tell you who's head you were in, you'd never really notice.
Personally I have to say that for me the worst YA book is Uglies trilogy written by Scott Westerfeld. I thought that I were going to love this books, I had high expectations for these three books but they were not at my expectations. I couldn't finish the three books (I only read the two first) because they were so predictable, for me, it happened because he gives you so many details that these details gives you so many clues to guess what is going to happend that in the end it happens what you think. That was very dissapointing. In my opinion Uglies trilogy has a good idea but it was not well used in the way the writer reflected his idea in his writing.Sorry if my grammar it is not excellent. I'm from Argetina so my native lenguage it is not English :)

1. Marked(house of night series)-Zoey just got on my nerves, she is judgemental and a hypocrit. If the author's really think Zoey is a good person than they are just insane.
2.Twilight-Do I even have to explain XD
3.Ounce in a full moon
Loved:
1. Tiger Lily-most emotional book I have ever read.
2.What's Left of Me-Love the characters, plot, and writing.
3. Masque of the Red Death- I just lvoed the world building!
4.Amy and Roger's epic detour
5.The Hunger Games- I loved it(like everyone else) but I think the book would have been better as a standalone than a trilogy...
6. The Uglies Series- Lots of growth in characters and the world building is just awesome! Characters are great to.
Those are all the books that come to my mind right now. As you can see the books I love outweigh the books I hate...it is really hard for me to hate a book :)
