I am very interested in The Rosie Project, and I love Sarah Addison Allen!

Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened
Started
. I've read one story and will probably read others interspersed with other reading. I'm trying to finish some I've started but have been languishing for a while.
I have been reading
and enjoying it, but, sadly sidetracked by watching "House of Cards" (two entire seasons) on Netflix....so unlike me.
We are reading some great selections! I purchased The Reason I Jump recently. Trying to figure out what the hype is for Hyperbole and a Half . . . Reading The Interestings for my FTF bookclub.

. I have really enjoyed all the other books in this series and expect to find this just as good."Loved this series. It is a fun read. :)
. I'm running into problems with audiobooks from my library, I have two Fannie Flagg books that I had to stop on the 2nd disc because of scratches or fingerprints. After they get cleaned, I'll get them back, but in the mean time...
Yippee! I have won a book giveaway and have started the fun and fast read
I have begun
on audio. For all the "Downton" fans the narrator is none other than Cora, Countess of Grantham....to non-viewers, Elizabeth McGovern.
Starting
. Maybe I'll actually be able to participate in the discussion of one of our monthly picks!
I'm starting
which is historical fiction (and, I understand, based on a true story). It's set in Iceland. With over 9,000 ratings, it has over a 4 star rating, so it should be good -- I hope!

Starting
. Saw that it is being made into a movie with Helen Mirren and directed by Lasse Hallstrom (2 of my favorites) so wanted to make sure I had the book under my belt before the movie comes out this summer.

Beah was in New Hampshire tonight and I went to see him, picked up his new book and got it signed. He read 3 different excerpts, spoke about his writing process and how he works to capture a sense of place in his writing, then spoke a bit about Sierre Leone and then answered questions. He is completely charming. I was struck by how much love he has for his country when it seems like it would be completely understandable if he just wanted to put it in his rear view mirror.

He was here in Saratoga on Monday night & I would have loved to have sen him, but I couldn't make it, thanks for sharing with us...
On a friend's recommendation I have begun
on audio. It is loaded with lots of 1980's references...how fun. I have begun
for my mystery book club.

This story makes me happy, Betsy. Thank you for sharing. Beah sounds like an incredibly lovely individual.

I love Austen, too. Some of them are so funny - very much social satire. I hear this is her most serious writing, so we'll see how it goes. You say it's your favorite, so I assume it will be a great read!
I got the call from the library today that
was in. I so loved Mr. Grossman's last novel
. His latest is a much shorter read than the previous, so I can begin it tonight.
I've started
which is YA historical fiction, based on the true story of a boy's experience with the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia in the 1970's.

? It is also set in Cambodia during the revolution.

No, I haven't. I remember seeing it in the local bookstore, but then forgot about it. I'll have to see if I can find it and get it read.
