Yeah me neither ... I'll try really hard to get it some how...
How about you guys make a list of books that are like Septimus Heap that you can get, so we could have you in the group read next month?
We'll make a list of books like Septimus Heap here (could we get the name of this topic changed to "Books like SH" or something, please?) and you guys can say which ones you can get. We can use the other topic for the Charlie Bone discussion, to talk about Charlie Bone. How does that sound?

Thanks! I hope this helps. Some of my suggestions are: Charlie Bone, Leven Thumps, and Percy Jackson. For single books, you could try The Goose Girl or Princess Academy.
All good suggestions! I've been meaning to start the Leven Thumps series and The Goose Girl.
I've also heard the Bartimaeus Trilogy is a good fantasy series but I haven't read them.

I think she wrote A Countess Below Stairs and...something else. I didn't really like A Countess Below Stairs, I think because the Russian Revolution references made it confusing/boring.

Really? I wanted to read that book, but if it was confusing/boring because of the references I probably won't read it.

there's another book written by Angie Sage .. its called Araminta Spook. We definitely have to add it to Group Reads!!! I havent read it yet , but I just thought I'd tell you guys since it was another book by Angie Sage

I've heard of it...doesn't look all that exciting, but I'm wiling to give it a try. Bookbegger--A Countess Below Stairs wasn't really my style, but you could still try it to see if you like it. The cover looks cool (like, modern/cute) but it's misleading because the writing sounds like it was written 50 years ago, but maybe you'll like that sort of thing. I would say look it up if you're bored and have nothing to read or you're being forced to read a historical fiction novel, but if you have a lot of other books you want to read, don't put this one at the top of your priority list. All in all, I think we basically have the same reading tastes (since we have a lot of books in common), so I wouldn't recommend it.
...I really think we should try Araminta Spook out , but its up for the Mods to decide...so yeah..=)

Thanks for the advice, Diana. I like books that are written in or like it was wrote 50 years ago because it has a little more description and better wording in most books. I won't put it on my 'must-read' list, but it's still on my to-read.

Fablehaven (Series) Magical and mythological
Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Series) Love it... The movie will stink though...
Ella Enchanted, It is WAY different then the movie

The Two Princesses of Bamarre... I think that is how it is spelt... The gray death is a deadly plague, and when a courageous princess catches it, can her shy younger sister journey on a quest to save her life? Magical!! xD

There are also books by Frances O'Roark Dowell, I think.. Like 'Where I'd like to Be.' And 'The Secret Language of Girls,' and it's sequel, 'The Kind of Friends we Used to Be.'
The Percy Jackson movie looks AWESOME!

To me it does, the digital effects look great. The director of 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' did a great job.
