"Dont think like that." Zach said.

"But it's true. I don't know what I'd do if anything ever happened to you."
"You'd go on. Very simple. There's nothing...special about me." Zach said, matter-of-fact.
"You're insane," Rebecca said just as matter-of-factly. "I begged a vampire to kill me in your place and you think you're nothing special. That's honestly what you're saying to me?"
Zach nodded, "Yes. Why you did what you did well...maybe you're insane." Zach said.
"Maybe," Rebecca said smiling for the first time since she found out that Kyle had been there hours ago. Her smile was small and barely touched her eyes but she knew that she could smile and that was enough for her.
Zach smiled too, glad the jerk kyle hadnt ruined her sense of humor.
Rebecca got out of Zachs lap and sat down next to him. "I need to test something but you have to stay very still."
Zach looked confused, but said, "Ok..." as he stayed very still.
Rebecca gently ran a fingers over his lips then slowly leaned in to kiss Zach but she kept pausing and occasionally pulling back so that it was taking her along time to get to him.{{srry it took a while I was washing my hair.}}
Rebecca finally kissed Zach and put her arms around his neck
Zach hesitantly put his arms around her waist.
Rebecca deepens the kiss only the slightest bit not minding Zachs arms.
Zach tightens his arms a little bit, pulling her the slightest bit closer to him.
Rebecca hesitated for a moment then put her fingers in Zach's hair
"Rebecca..." Zach whispered, not breaking from the kiss.
"Zach..." she whispered into the kiss in response.
Zach kissed her back gently, but lovingly.
Rebecca deepened the kiss a little more.
Zach tangled his fingers in her hair.
Rebecca tensed and her kiss faltered
Zach let go quickly, and scooted back. "Sorry." he said. He hated that it was klye's fault. It was all his fault that she acted all weird around him. Without Kyle, this wouldnt have happened.
"It's alright," Rebecca said. She moved over so she was next to Zach again, put one hand on the back of his neck and kissed him again hesitating less than before.
Zach pulled back, "It is not alright, Rebecca. What he did to you was horrible. If you dont want to kiss me, you dont have to." He said.
"I do want to kiss you. I'm not stopping because of you it's just automatic currently becuse of him," she said putting her head on his shoulder. "I'm already getting better. When I first camein before I had trouble with your arms around me."
"Then maybe thats all you need right now." Zach said as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders
Rebecca sighed content with just being in Zach's arms and after a few minuets pulled herself onto his lap again, curled up against his chest and closed her eyes. "Why now?" she complained to the air. "Now that I'm happy?"
Zach looked confused. "Why what?" he asked.
"Now that I'm happy all this bad stuff keeps happening. First I was killed by a vampire, then Kyle shot at me the same day, and then Kyle he... he," she couldn't keep talking she began sobbing, she put her her face into his chest and sobbed hardly her whole body shaking.
Zach put his arms around her, and held her closly, and tightly.
Rebecca tensed for a second then her muscles loosened and she sobbed even harder she couldn't even let her boyfriend hold her, it was driving her insane.{{Srry it took so long -- being sneaky}}
Zach gently rubbed her back as she cried.
Slowly Rebecca's sobs stopped and she lifted her head and softly kissed Zach barely hesitating.
Zach pulled back, "No, you need to rest. I'll even drive you home." he said.
"I don't want to go," she whispered her voice shaking.
"Ok, that's fine. You can sleep here, and I'll sleep downstairs." Zach said.
Rebecca's head shook. "I don't want to be without you even in my sleep anymore today, that includes you being in a different room."
Zach nodded, "Fine, then just go to sleep. I'll still be here when you wake up." Zach said.
Rebecca leaned her head back on Zach again, closed her eyes, and quickly fell asleep.
After a little while Rebecca began to toss and turn mumbling, "No," over and over.
Zach watched her carefully, making sure she was ok, and that she didnt fall.
Rebecca slowly got louder. "No, No, No!" At the last 'no' Rebecca slowly began to enter into consciousness. Although she was still half asleep she was very aware of being in someones arms, and she didn't fully recall falling asleep in Zach's. So the first conclusion she came to was that she was in Kyle's arm and she went rigid.
Rebecca's hand snapped out, grabbed one of Zach's wrists, and twisted hard. "Don't touch me," she thought she was yelling but it actually sounded like she was still muttering in her sleep.
"Ok, Ok." Zach said as he quickly let go of her, and walked to the far side of the room, a little confused, and more than a little hurt.
Rebecca listened and realized that it wasn't Kyle whose wrist she had twisted and who she yelled at, it was Zach. She sat bolt upright. "Oh Zach I'm sorry," she said wiping sleep from her eyes.
Zach sat at the other side of the room, knees pulled up to his chest. "It's fine." he said, "Just go back to sleep." but it wasnt fine, and he was afriad it may never be fine again.
Rebecca got up, crossed the room to him, sat on the floor next to him, took his arms wrapped them around her, and laid her head on his shoulder. "I'm not going to be able to sleep without you," she said, closing her eyes and began to fall asleep.
