Sabrina narrowed her eyes back at him.

Alek bared his teeth in a wickedly cunning grin, then vanished. He reappeared behind her, crouched beside Henry.
Sabrina whirled around and grabbed the back of Aleks shirt, yanking him back.
Sabrina glared back. "Just think a little more first! "
"Think about what?" Alek snapped. "That he attacked you? Or that he killed your sister?"
"Think about how killing him could make us monsters too!" Sabrina shouted.
Alek have response. He wasn't sure he agreed with her. The only thing he was sure of is that he was hungry, and that Henry's scent was amazing.
Sabrina remained between him and Henry.
{{I think we've kind of put them in a stalemate.}}
((Yeah. I'll fix it.))With Sabrina stalling the immediate danger, Balthazar was able to focus on shifting, saying, "Told you she'd choose me eventually." before shifting into a mosquito and flying away faster than a regular mosquito.
Alek growled. "Now look what you've done," he snapped.
{{I am once again stuck. I don't want to have him attack her, but having him just walk away would be anticlimactic.}}
((Yeah. You want to fast forward a bit and leave it kind of open-ended?))
After Sabrina and Alek had gone their separate ways, both a bit ticked off at the other, she ended up in her room working on the summer assignment that she'd been putting off for over a month.
Alek went to Christian and Rebecca's house to talk to Christian.
Christian was sitting on the front steps if his house, playing with the shadows at his feet.
"Hey," Alek said, sitting next to him.
Christian looked up. "What are you doing here?" he asked surprised. "Is Sabrina ok?" he added worriedly,
"She's fine," Alek said. "She's a vampire, what could be wrong."
"Then why are you here?" Christian asked.
"I wanted to ask you some questions," Alek said.
"Despite being turned back into a vampire, do you think there's any chance that I could still have part of Sabrina's fire?" Alek asked.
ChristiAn shook his head. "my guess is the vampirism negated it and its gone."
Alek swore and slammed his fist on the step; causing a chunk of it to break off.
"Hey! Watch it!" Christian said. "Why do you want to know?"
"I was hoping there would be a way to trick her into taking it back and turn her human again," Alek said, waving his hand over the step so it fixed itself.
"Trick her?" Christian asked. "Why would you have to trick her?"
"She thinks that if I'm a vampire and she isn't I'll leave her," Alek said.
"isn't that what you do?" Christian said.
"So you're saying that you'd be with her even if she's human?" Christian asked skeptically.
"That's ridiculous." Christian replied.
"You'd hurt her." Christian answered. "And let's not factor in the inevitable age difference. It wouldn't work. A human and a vampire has never worked. Besides...if she were human and you were a vampire, I'd automatically one-up you because I'm human too." He added, the last sentence only partly joking. "So tell me again how think that could ever work?"
"Bella and Edward Cullen," Alek said simply.
"They're both vampires now." Christian replied. "They didn't last with her as human."
"That's because she wanted to be a vampire," Alek said. "Going into it he had no intention of turning her. Sabrina never wanted to be a vampire. It was selfishness and unwillingness to be without her that made her one."
Christian shrugged. "Whatever man. If you want to go do something that'll only piss her off, by all means proceed. I'll be plenty happy to swoop in and comfort her."
Alek glanced at him out of the corner of his eye, trying to decide whether to kill him for that comment or not. "Have you ever considered being into someone who isn't in a relationship?" He ended up asking.
"She wasn't in one when I started liking her. Besides, I have confidence in your ability to screw it up. it's not like you have loads of experience with meaningful relationships." Christian replied. "I can wait a bit."
"Good luck with that," Alek chuckled humorlessly.
"Laugh all you want. you'll see." Christian said. "Was that all you needed?"
"That book on Soulfires come in yet?" Alek asked
Christian nodded. "Yeah, I've skimmed it."
"Let me borrow it," Alek requested.
