"I'll take you," Alek said, grabbing his car keys.

"Thanks," Sabrina said as she walked out.
Alek slid his arms around her waist, leading her to the car.
Sabrina wrapped an arm around him in return, as she walked with him to the car.
"I don't want you to go home," Alek said as they approached the car.
"...how'd you get that cell phone battery into my room that time? " Sabrina asked.
"I went in and put it on your pillow," Alek said.
"Without anyone noticing?" Sabrina asked.
"You don't really get how fast Vampires are do you?" Alek asked.
"Show me." Sabrina said. "Drop me off, then come up to my room. We can spend a bit more time together, if you want."
Sabrina smiled, and hopped into the car.
Alek climed in beside her and drove to her house.
"See you upstairs." Sabrina said as she got out of the car and headed inside.
Alek parked the car around the corner and ran back to the house, jumping through her window, and getting there before her. He laid back on her bed so it looked like he'd been waiting for a long time.
Upon entering her house, Sabrinas mom stopped her with a parade of questions that Sabrina evaded by simply saying she'd been with Susannah. during her stay with them the past few weeks, susannahs studious personality had left a good impression on Shirley and after Sabrina told her that she'd been Susannah, Shirley just nodded and Sabrina went up to her room, smiling when she saw alek.
"What took you so long?" Alek said jokingly, propping himself up on his elbow.
Sabrina laughed and sat next him. "That was crazy fast." she said. "I barely stopped to talk to my mom for two seconds!"
"The perks of being a vampire," Alek said.
Light footsteps that followed a measure, calculated pattern could be heard coming from down the hall.
Alek vanished the moment he heared them.
Susannah peeked her head into the room. "Hey Sabrina, I thought I heard Shirley talking to someone." she said."Hey," Sabrina said. "What's up?"
"Um...you know that dance you were talking about? On Friday?" Susannah asked.
"Yeah, what about it?" Sabrina asked. She had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing - the longer she stood there, clearly wanting to ask some kind of question, the more uncomfortable Susannah looked, and if the topic of discussion was something as simple as a dance, Sabrina was sure that whatever Susannah wanted to discuss, it wasn't nearly as embarrassing as Susannah seemed to think it was.
"Well...you know how people wear dresses to dances?" Susannah said. Sabrina nodded. "...can I just wear my spring fling dress?" Sabrina grabbed a pillow and threw it at Susannah's head, narrowly missing as Susannah ducked out of the way.
"If you don't go out and get a new dress for your first outing with Jacob after he gets better, I will disown you as my cousin." Sabrina said, mock-glaring at Susannah.
"Now I'm sure we can find her something nice of yours she can borrow," Alek said, coming out of hiding.
Susannah groaned. "It still involves looking through clothes, which I was trying to avoid." she said."Seriously, Suze, are you sure you're a girl?" Sabrina said as she pulled Susannah into her room and sat her down on the bed. "Stay there." Sabrina turned and started digging through her closet.
"So I take it that since you are making plans to go to a dance with him this week that Jacob is up," Alek said, taking a seat next to Susannah on the bed.
Susannah smiled and nodded. "They woke him up yesterday evening." she said."What about this?" Sabrina said, pulling out a sparkly green dress.
Susannah paled. "I'd rather go in a potato sack." she said.

"Maybe something with a little more red in it," Alek suggested, thinking of her dress from spring fling.
"This?" Sabrina said, holding up another dress."Please don't make me wear that." Susannah said. "It's too...sparkly."

Susannah tilted her head to the side, scrutinizing the dress. "I don't know..." she said unsurely. "it's perfect!" Sabrina said. "I forgot I had that! And if you wear it with these, you'll look amazing! " she added, holding up some gold heels.

"You're trying to kill me." Susannah said.
Sabrina gave Susannah the dress and the shoes. "Just try it on."
Susannah sighed, but left to try on the dress.
Alek sat on the bed and pulled Sabrina onto his lap.
"That was fun," Sabrina said, curling close to Alek. "I've always wanted a sister. These past few weeks with Susannah are the closest I've ever gotten to having one."
"Are you upset that she's leaving in a few days?" Alek asked, leaning his head on her shoulder.
"Not upset, more...apprehensive." Sabrina said. "I don't want us to become so distant again. I don't know what happened between out mothers, but I don't want it to continue to separate us."
"What about your mom?" Alek asked. "You think she's going to try get her to stay?"
"Actually, last I heard, mom wants to meet Jacob in a better setting. Despite knowing how my mom didn't like him very much, Susannah talks about him a lot, and I think mom's warming up to the idea of him and Susannah being together. So I don't think she will." Sabrina said.
Alek nodded. "So what would you like to do now love?" He asked.
Sabrina thought, "Hm...want to finish that movie we started the other day?" she asked.
Alek made a face. "Not particularly," he admitted.
"You didn't like it?" Sabrina asked in surprise. "That movie's the best!"
Alek shook his head. "Not really my style."
"What's your favorite movie?" Sabrina asked curiously.
Alek thought for a while. "Lord of the Rings," he said finally.
"I've never seen that before. Actually, I don't even know what it's about." Sabrina said.
Alek gaped at her. "Well then I guess I'll have to show them to you sometime," he said.
Sabrina nodded. "its a date." she said.
"Can't wait," Alek said, kissing the side of her head.
"hmm...do you play chess? " Sabrina asked.
Alek shook his head. "Maybe I'll take some time during infinity to learn," shrugged.
Sabrina grinned. "Want to learn a bit now?" she asked.
