"It's pretty far," Jacob said. "Please just come with me." He couldn't let her find her house empty. Especially not on her own.

Susannah sighed. "Fine." And headed towards the car.
Jacob got in after her and started driving. But instead of Susannah's house Jacob drove to the cemetery. He parked the car, then got out and opened Suannahs door for her. "And I was worried that I had tired you out," Rebecca said striking his hair. "But I gues your like the energizer bunny; you just keep going and going. "
"Why are we here?" Susannah asked,not getting out of the car.Zach laughed. "No,I'm plenty tired, but the feeling of being so close to you,of hearing you scream my name has amazing endurance properties."
Rebecca moaned just thinking about his body against hers. "I know what you mean.""There's something here you need to see," Jacob said. "Then I'll take you straight home," he swore.
Zachs fingers played with the ends of her hair. "Definitely better than school.""What is so important that i have to see it in a creepy cemetery?" Susannah asked.
Jacob couldn't tell her, not outright. "Please just trust me when I say that it's important," he pleaded. "I couldn't agree more," Rebecca said, stroking his torso.
Susannah eyed him warily,but stepped out of the car. "Fine. Lead the way."Zach sighed softly in contentment.
Rebecca laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes, breathing him in. Jacob lead her to where her mother was buried and slowly stepped aside to let her see the name written on the headstone.
Zach wrapped his arms around her and held her close."...what's this?" Susannah breathed hollowly.
"Why I didn't just take you to your house after the jewelry store," Jacob said quietly. Rebecca slowly started to nod off in his arms.
"This could be anybody." Susannah said softly. "Susie and summers are pretty common names."Zach was doing the same.
"It is her Susannah," Jacob said. "I was there that day."
"You're lying. My mother wasn't sick,her job never held any hazards. There's no precedent for this." Susannah said softly. Then suddenly she turned on Jacob. "You're lying! You're a lying sick ba****d and i hate you!" She yelled at him.
"If you don't believe me, I'll take you back to your house and you'll see," Jacob said. "But I would never ever lie to you Susannah"
All off Susannahs misplaced anger left her suddenly,and she found herself on her knees in tears.
Jacob knelt down next to her and gently wrapped his arms around her.
"I'm so sorry," Jacob said, lightly rubbing her back.
"Her neck was snapped," Jacob said gently.
"What would do something like that?" Susannah asked.
"Someone with a vendetta and nothing left to lose," Jacob said.
Susannah didn't reply, she just clung onto him tighter as she cried.
Jacob sat on the ground and pulled her into him, cradling her in his arms.
Susannahs sobs quieted,but didn't stop.
"If it makes you feel any better," Jacob said, "the person that did this is dead."
"Choked to death," Jacob said shortly.
"How long?" Susannah asked. "How long has she been gone?"
Jacob sat there quietly, not sure how to help her. Last time it was different, last time he wasn't a stranger to her, he was someplace happy and comforting for her.
Finally Susannah stood quietly,and started walking back to the car.
Jacob got up and followed her. "Where do you want me to take you?" He asked gently.
"Wherever it is i call home these days." Susannah said softly.
Jacob nodded, opening her door for her.
Jacob got in and drove without saying a word.
A few minutes later they were pulling up to his house.
Susannah got out of the cat without saying anything.
Susannah looked around,but recognized nothing.
"So this is your room," Jacob said awkwardly. "The bathroom and kitchen are inside."
"Can I get you anything?" Jacob asked.
Jacob nodded. "I'll be inside if you need anything."
