Christian came down from his room, and Zach appeared through the door and next to her in seconds.

"What do you think of the beginings of my empire?" Rebecka asked Susannah.
"I think it shows that you," Susannah glanced at Alek, "both of you, are heartless evil people who are colder than the skin you wear."
"Don't forget that you wear it to," Alek said quietly, running his fingers over the throat."Now I wanted your opinion on something else," Rebecka said. "For my next subject I was thinking Caleb what do you think?"
"I think that if you touch him, I will find a way to kill you. Firestarters live much longer than the average human, so I've got plenty of time to find a way." Susannah said.
"Well it's a bit late," Rebecka said. "I had cast the spell when I asked you about it." Then she turned to Alek, "Go bring him and then you can have her." Alek nodded and ran out the door.
"Would you like to know what Jacob's roll will be?" Rebecka asked, and Jacob's face lit up as he heard her say his name.
"What?" Susannah asked, a part of her mind already trying to figure out how someone with no particular physical strength at all could kill a vampire who wasn't only a vampire, but a witch as well.Caleb was sitting in his room.
"The dog that he his," Rebecka said. At that moment due to a suggestion Rebecka had put into his head Jacob leapt up, put his hands in her lap, leaned up and began to lick her face affectionately, just like a dog.
Susannah's eyes widened, and her hair lit again. "Why?" she asked as she attempted to control her anger and not say what she was actually thinking.
"Just because," Rebecka said. She smirked and scratched behind Jacob's ear in response to which he moaned in the place of tail wagging.Alek arrived in Caleb's room at about the same time as the spell reached him. "Time to go to her," he said when he arrived.
Susannah glared.Caleb stood. "Where is she?" he asked.
Alek put his hand on his shoulder and teleported them to Rebecka's house. When he arrived he looked at her questioningly and she nodded. He turned around and quickly went to Susannah's side.
Susannah didn't even notice him as she was still looking at Jacob.
Jacob sat back at Rebecka's feet his head in her lap, beaming as she played with his hair. "Don't worry," Alek said gently, gently tucking her hair behind her ear, "soon it won't matter to you." He was trying to sound reassuring, but as he said it he knew it didn't sound the way he wanted.

((its alright))Susannah, who was determined to some how show Alek that nothing he did would ever change her mind, didn't even acknowledge the fact that he was there, or the fact that he'd touched her. He might as well not have been there at all for all the notice she took.
"You're being very rude," Rebecka said to Susannah. "Jacob why don't you let her know what we think of people being rude."Jacob reluctantly lifted his head off Rebecka's lap, glared at Susannah, and growled at her threateningly.
Susannah flinched at the growl, but otherwise refused to show any other reaction. Right then, all she wanted was to go home.
"Now be nice to Alek before I sick my dog on you," Rebecka said, scratching Jacob under the chin.Alek wrapped his arm lightly around her waist. "You don't have to be nice if you don't want to," he whispered in her ear, trying to be nice. "You're not one of hers, you're one of mine."
"I don't belong to anybody." Susannah snapped.
"Not right now," Rebecka said."But soon enough," Alek finished, running his fingers through her hair.
"You guys are monsters." Susannah stated simply, as if it were fact. And in her opinion, it was.
Jacob growled at Susannah. "No she isn't," he insisted. "Being with me won't be so bad," Alek said quietly wanting to make her feel better. "I can make sure nothing ever makes you sad or upset."
"How do you expect me to believe that when all you've ever done is make me sad and upset?" Susannah said angrily.
Alek recoiled from her words."Not that this isn't fun and all," Rebecka said. "But do you intend to take her anytime soon?"
Alek nodded at Rebecka then turned to Susannah. I won't just pretend around her okay? He said in her head desperately trying to make up for some of the things he had done. He let his eyes turn black with magic and ran his hand down her arm, making it look as though he had cast the spell.

Fine. Susannah agreed reluctantly, and her expression changed from one of anger and hatred to one of loving adoration when his hand touched her arm.
Alek wrapped his arms around Susannah and pulled her onto his lap."Now then one thing," Susannah will go on living with Jacob at his house and will act as if they are in love when they are on the reservation in order to keep up appearances and keep the pack at bay."
"But I don't want to be with her," Jacob said looking up at her. "Please can I just stay with you?" He begged her.
"And I could care less about being with him." Susannah forced herself to say. "I'd rather be with Alek." she said, wrapping her arms around him.
"Take care of it," Rebecka told Alek and he nodded, gently rubbing Susannah's back. Then Rebecka tuned to Jacob. "You can't stay here," she said, "I need you to pretend to want her so that the other werewolves don't come after me and try to hurt me. You don't want that do you."Jacob shook his head quickly. " I won't let any of them hurt you," he breathed. "I'll be with her if it keeps you safe."
Alek went about convincing Susannah in a similar manner.
This is ridiculous. Susannah thought, partially hoping Alek could still hear, and partially because that's simply what she thought.
It's her world, we're just living in it, Alek told her. "So will you stay with him, for me?" He asked her aloud to keep up apperences.
Susannah nodded. "For you." she said.
"Perfect," Rebecka said. "Now Alek why don't you and Susannah go upstairs for some privacy."Alek lifted Susannah and ran up to Rebecca's room. He put her down on the bed at sat next to her. He glanced back at the door, put a hand on her cheek, then leaned down and kissed her without warning
Susannah was completely caught off guard, and froze for a second before she started to fight against him venomously.
Stop it she's right down stairs. She'll hear you, Alek warned wrapping his arms around her loosely but securely. "I'm thirsty," Rebecka said to boys around her, under her control. "Who wants to get me someone or something to drink?"
Susannah groaned in exasperation, in a way that could be taken as a moan if Rebecka were to hear, before she stopped fighting."Oh! I do!" Zach volunteered.
"No I want to," Jacob said jumping to his feet and growling at Zach.Alek moved to kiss her throat, near the hallow of her throat.
"No, I want to." Zach growled back.Susannah didn't say anything.
Alek put his hand on the small of her back and gently laid her back on the bed. Making sure the springs creaked slightly for Rebecka's sake."How about a race?" Rebecka suggested. "First one back with a satisfying meal wins a prize."
Susannah bit her tongue to keep from protesting."Deal." Zach said, before racing off.
Jacob took off after him, kicking off his shoes. As he ran he took off his shirt and pants and shifted as he hit the tree line.Alek gently slid his hands under her shirt, making sure the fabric rubbed against her skin, as he moved back to her lips.
Zach sniffed the forest out for an animal.I hope you acknowledge how sleazy this is. Susannah thought, not reacting at all.
I'm trying to protect you, Alek said, pulling away for a minute, Now breathe heavily so it sounds like I'm giving you a chance to catch your breath and we'll have a brief conversation.Jacob couldn't track things by the scent of their blood the way a vampire could. So he settled on just going until he found something.
Fine. Susannah thought, and her breathing turned heavy.It wasn't long before Zach tracked down a mountain lion, and quickly headed back.
Jacob found a deer, grabbed his neck with his teeth and began to drag it back which slowed him down some.You have to be a lot more convincing then you've been being, Alek said. Not for my sake but for your own if you don't she say that I'm to weak to do what needs to be done, she'll use her magic on you, and order you to be with me. Forget about making her believe you, try to make me believe you want to be here with me. I know it's not true, but try to make me think it could be. Pretend Jacob's life depended on it, because with Rebecka it just might.
Zach barely paused long enough to open the door instead of crashing through it when he got back.Susannah thought about what he'd said for a minute. After a few seconds, she grabbed the front of his shirt in her hands, and pulled him to her and into a fierce kiss.
Alek kissed back and moaned quietly, wishing more than anything that it were real.Rebecka walked outside taking Zach's hand as she passed him. Jacob arived soon after but when he saw Zach already there dropped the deer and flopped to the ground in defeat.
"Caleb would you please get Jacob his clothes," Rebecka said as she bent over the mountain lion. "This is quite a catch," she commended Zach.
Susannah tangled her fingers in his hair.Zach beamed.
Caleb fetched Jacob his clothes.
Rebecka sank her teeth into it's neck and began to drink greedily. She pulled away after a moment long before it was done, looked up at Zach, and motioned for him to join her.Jacob took his clothes a few yards into the woods to get dressed.
Alek held her hips, making small circles on her stomach with his thumbs under her shirt.
Zach stepped forward next to her, and sank his teeth into the lion's neck next to her.Susannah didn't like how his thumbs were like cold stone, instead of warm skin like when she was with Jacob, but she sucked it up, and moaned quietly, getting closer to him.
Alek began to slowly push up her shirt until her stomach was showing; deepening the kiss slightly.Rebecka leaned down and continued to drink, reaching out and taking Zach's hand while she did.
Jacob came back and watched, becoming extremely jealous of Zach.
