Jacob stopped in the middle of the woods where there was nothing for miles around and dropped Susannah on the ground. Then he leaned over to whisper in Zach's ear, to quietly for Susannah to hear. "Rebecca said that she," he pointed to Susannah, "was making her upset and to keep that in mind when we were done getting her away from her. So what do you want to do about it?" He asked him.
"I think," Zach said, "that due to her still being in love with you, you should be the one to do it. And not a physical pain, because that will go away easily. Something emotional."
"A werewolf can't hold the girl he's imprinted on now?" Jacob asked laughingly, raising an eyebrow. He knew he was just acting but it felt so natural and it made him feel guilty.
"Does this," he tightened his arms slightly for a second, "look like I'm in love with someone else to you? Cause it sure as hell doesn't look that way to me."
"But that doesn't make any sense." Susannah protested, but it was a weak protest as she wanted more than anything to believe that this was really Jacob she was with, and not the spelled Jacob.
"Well I don't know about we," Jacob said, "but I'm going to kiss you." He playfully tackled her to the ground so that he was lying on top of her then softly kissed around her jaw.
"When we got out here, both you and Zach were under Rebecka's spell." Susannah said. "And while you're not under it anymore, Zach is. Why isn't he making some kind of fuss, or going off to tell Rebecka?"
Susannah moaned softly, and couldn't help compare what Jacob was doing to what Alek had did, and deciding that being with Jacob was definitely much better than being with anyone else. Especially an ice cold, rock hard vampire.
"I lied," Jacob whispered licking her throat once. Then he shoved away from her and was on his feet in a flash. He crossed his arms over his chest and stood over her. "I have left you 100% and completely alone."
Zach ran after them.
