egyptians, beach with a boy of the sun or something, this might be two books(completely different), ghost town, cave with a crazy monster, twins, big truck, fantasy, bo cleevil?, somber kitty?, fern? with a twin brother?

Some of those elements (Egypt, twins, girl, I think cat) are in Pamela Service's the Reluctant God.

The references to Somber Kitty and Bo Cleevil are characters in the May Bird series by Jodi Lynn Anderson. The girl falls into a lake with her cat (Somber Kitty) in the first book: May Bird and the Ever After.
There are a few books in the series - not sure if egyptians ever show up in that or not. But at least one of the books you're looking for is in the May Bird series.
If it it two different books, the part in the header (girl+cat+pool) could beA Well-Timed Enchantment -- the girl and cat fall in a well that takes them to another time. I think medieval Europe, though, no Egypt.
