I read the New Yorker article on this - it was either an excerpt from the book, or a summary of sorts. Quite interesting. I don't know that it made me want to read the whole book. But he is a very good writer and investigative journalist. I recommend him to people who haven't read him.

Finally!!! I've finished: The Passage !!! 11 parts and 75? chapters, getting through this has been... a passage!
I nearly put this down at the beginning, as I am not overly fond of vampire stuff, but it is written well and narrated well. Also, it is not your typical vampire like novel. Glad to be done with it though.
Next up: Trapped

I'm currently reading Robin Cook's Contagion which is my 56th book of the year... after this will probably read Bernard Knight's Grounds For Appeal as I read the two prior books in the Richard Pryor series and enjoyed them both.If anyone likes talking books/exchanging reviews/comments feel free to add me :)
I started another Elizabeth George novel today, A Suitable Vengeance. Sixty pages in and I think I'm reading a Harlequin romance. When does the mystery kick in?
I had my Nook with me & was looking for a Karin Slaughter book, but started this one instead. I think the Slaughter has yet to be transferred from the computer.

Awww, you guys! I love it when that happens.
Just finished reading angelology. Rather dense content, not expected. Enjoyed but was super disappointed to get to end and find it's not THE END. Second book due out, I think, June.
Hi I'm Ben and I'm a newbie. I tend to start with a few books at the same time and then run with the one that interests me the most. Usually I'll keep something light around also like poetry or a joke book. This method leaves me with a stack of half read books to choose from at all times, but will all ways read what someone gives or lends me almost immediately. As to whats next, I am hoping to get some ideas from reviews, comments and suggestions here.
