Are you reading the series in order, or is the first one you are reading?

Finished Burmese Days. (view spoiler) Finished Nineteenth-Century Romanticism in Music which was good and a fun read.
Now I'm onto Fin De Siecle Vienna: Politics And Culture, and for my fiction book, A Legacy.

I read #4 first it was a First Reads book that I won, and then went back and read the rest in order.
I just finished "The Rules of Civility which I liked. Now it's on to Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
I have just finished the delightful Broken City. Was very surprised at the writing and once I got into the book, I couldn't put it down. Now I am going to read The Truce for review. Also finished A Gathering Light
I just finished The Iron King and can't decide whether to put it on Bookmooch or dump it in the recycling bin.
I decided not to read The Truce last night as I couldn't think straight, so I started reading Private Eyes.

What a flucking relief, eh?
janine wrote: "I finished The Bonfire of the Vanities today. 5 stars."I've heard so many mixed things about that one, I've been nervous about giving it a go. And I generally hate books set in the 80's. I have no idea why.
I've been thinking I should reread Bonfire of the Vanities. I did like it when it first came out.
Starting The Queen of the Damned. It seems that this year is gradually becoming the year of the re-read for me.
Still working on A Legacy. I hate it so I'm reading like a zombie, forcing my eyes down and across the page. The review sounded interesting so I bought 4 of her books. Oh well!

Loved Owen Meany. Hated Simon Birch.
This morning I finished Private Eyes and also read Husband Won't Buy Wife a Kindle - Franklin Eddy. Now I am reading Star Gazing and I am loving it so far.
I finished Franny and Zooey a couple of weeks back, and now I'm trying to write a review. I'm finding it very difficult; I'm still not sure how I feel about this book.
Gabby wrote: "Started The Namesake yesterday."I loved The Namesake. Have you read her short stories? Both collections are very good, possibly better than her novel.

You must be joking. Than movie makes me weep like a schoolgirl. I especially love Simon as the baby Jesus.

Memnoch the Devil comes after Body Thief. I didn't like it as much as the earlier ones.
I haven't read any other vampire books lately, other than Rice's and the Twilight series last year. Rice's vampires would kick those sparkly fuckers' asses.
