Memnoch the Devil comes after Body Thief. I didn't like it as much as the earlier ones.

I haven't read any other vampire books lately, other than Rice's and the Twilight series last year. Rice's vampires would kick those sparkly fuckers' asses.

Are you reading the series in order, or is the first one you are reading?

Finished Burmese Days. (view spoiler) Finished Nineteenth-Century Romanticism in Music which was good and a fun read.

Now I'm onto Fin De Siecle Vienna: Politics And Culture, and for my fiction book, A Legacy.

I've heard so many mixed things about that one, I've been nervous about giving it a go. And I generally hate books set in the 80's. I have no idea why.

Sarah | 13814 comments I liked that book a lot way back when I read it. Just don't see the movie, no matter what. Blah.

Still working on A Legacy. I hate it so I'm reading like a zombie, forcing my eyes down and across the page. The review sounded interesting so I bought 4 of her books. Oh well!
