Your next/current read?

Oh mary, ive been wanting to read that. A lot.
I do links when I want to, phil-style. I never knew HTML could be "old fashioned." Neat-o.

Looking forward to the spaghetti scene...

I'm about halfway through

What bugs me more than the cover image is when people don't put a link to the book at all and just type it. Then lazy me has to start a new tab and do a ..."
well, shit. i didn't realize it made a difference. hence, i use < and > with 'b' or 'i', whatever, inside. so let me attempt to do it the proper way.
*clearing throat*
i finished
Just After Sunset and started Full Dark, No Stars. i have one more of his i want to read then it's back to the usual fare, i'm sure.
(hope i did this correctly).
and it motherfuckin' didn't include the damn author, even though it was included in the fricking link. so, just let me add the author is Stephen King.
and please let me apologize for the rant.

That reminds me of a coffee room conversation years back about people letting their vehicles run in winter while they get groceries. I expressed that it "bugged me that people waste fuel like that". One of my coworkers said, "Well you can't tell people what to do, Janice." My response, "Am I allowed to express an opinion?"
But I digress....
I just bought Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King. (You can add the author's name same way you do the title.) I'll be interested in how you like it Angela.

I've read two Vines and no Rendells. I wasn't that crazy about Minotaur. It doesn't make me want to branch out into the Rendells.

Weathercock and Never Knowing arrived (one yesterday and one today). I can't decide which to start first...
I don't tweet, and why would I care what his opinion is, LG?
Myles, I've had those Lewis books and the Dune books on my shelf for ages as well...maybe I'll get to them this year? :)
It does sound a little naughty. :I
But, I think it's just a weather-vane shaped like a rooster. Don't know, haven't opened it yet. Not feeling it today.

I noticed you shelved the old covers, from the 60s. Do you own those? I own two of the old ones. Fabulous cover art.

I don't know what to read next. Does anyone have a suggestion as to which book from my TBR I should read next?

On your list:
I loved
Middlesex and Dorian Gray. I abandoned The Condition after one chapter but I don't remember why.

Barb, which book on my list was it that you wouldn't recommend to anyone? If a book is on my TBR list it means that I own it.
I haven't read a single book on your TBR list. :(

I am reading Elantris. Well, it is more like devouring than reading. An excellent escape from the real world, I'm fully absorbed.

I loved The Help. I'm from that area, so it's awesome to know the places they're talking about. It was very well written and managed to be funny while still getting the serious message across.

I started Fair Fights and Foul: A Dissenting Lawyer's Life, a memoir by one of the founding partners of Arnold & Porter.
My foster mom was telling me about this book. I had forgotten all about it, until you mentioned it. Thanks! I'll add it to my list so I don't forget again. :)
RA, is Stardust that good? I saw the film, I liked it okay, but wasn't that compelled to read the book based on the film.

It was a relatively pleasing read, Janice. Short.
Now I'm reading The Little Stranger which is hard to put down. I wasn't sure what to expect from this author, and I end up disliking most current fiction, so this is a pleasant surprise.

*shakes fist at RA for having to go look his books up now*"
Ahhh, he's just trying to get back at me for calling him a lady.
