I'm attempting to learn my way around the Goodreads neighborhood. I'm a recently published author of the contemporary romance novel, Relations. I also enjoy reading but as an indie author, I don't get much time to do it as I market my book.

And Ty, I actually had writer's block for about four years (after only witing about a page) before I finally finished my book. After writing that statement, I don't know if it sounds like encouragement to you or not! LOL!

Thanks for allowing me to join as an author new to Goodreads. I've had 17 books published chiefly by Penguin. My main interests are in literary non-fiction for adults and teenagers, with an emphasis on Australian military history, re-told as story.

As a former journalist, the external facts are as accurate as I can make them; but the internals of thought, speech and emotion can only come from the novelist's technique. It's a tricky fusion sometimes, but I'd be interested in sharing the views of other writers and especially readers.
