Thank you both. What I can say right now is that there won't be another Spellman book in March, 2011. I've been working on other projects. However, I think I will probably do at least one more Spellman book after that.

Also, what other projects are you working on?

Lisa, I think you've said that there's going to be at least one more book, perhaps published as early as 2012. Is that the case?
Thanks.
ETA: Oh, yes: Message #3 in this thread. ;-)

I read that; although every where else it is saying the final book, so I am going to pretend it is the last book and if another one comes out, I'll just be really excited.

Kellee, That's smart of you. And it was a fabulous end! I don't think I've ever laughed so much while reading a book, and thought it was the best of the 4, but I did go back and read my reviews for the first 3 books and I was extremely amused (and touched) by all of them.

The 4th book was funny, touching and perfect, so if a 5th happens, it happens and I'll be very excited. If there isn't, then I am still happy. It is a win-win.
BTW- I like your reviews of the first three as well :) You are correct that there is no other writer like Lisa Lutz. I read a lot of YA and very few adult books, and that is because not a lot of adult books are like Lisa's. They are too serious and forget to have fun- Lisa would never forget to have fun.

Interesting, I have a feud with the NY Times. Their reviews of movies and some books are certainly not meant for us West Coasters. Guess we are just not sophisticated enough!!! Just wondering if they ever reviewed any of the Spellmans books??????

Thanks everyone for the extremely kind comments. After a few years on Goodreads, I finally respotted the location of the Q&A section. It came as a surprise to see so many new comments.
Here's the scoop on the books: The next one is out in March and it's not the last by any means. I left doors open and plan to return and hope to not have a gap of 2 years in between.
