Like you said, David, it's all about liability. Someone might be dumb enough to try it at home but the ad company and the company doing the advertising would be able to say "hey, it's not our fault, we put a disclaimer up."
KD, posting is FUNNER when humor translates through an electronic medium.In addition to lawsuit-happy people, I think MTV's Jack-Ass made companies like Snapple have to put disclaimers on everything, which is unfortunate.
I love the little packs of silica gel that comes with sneakers and some other things that says "Do No Eat" all over it. I'm sure at some point there was someone who was just delighted to find a little snack treat in with their Nikes and they got sick and sued but it just seems ridiculous that anyone would think to eat it. Maybe little kids but they can't read anyway!
