Geeze, that's a hard one Maddie. I like Eric--and Quinn-and Alcide--and Sam--and and and lol. Actually I like most of the guys that Sookie interacts with. Except for Bill, sorry, but he went off my list after what he did to poor Sookie.
Must I even say it? ERIC NORTHMAN. Hands down.
Bill is the best inside & out. If you go by TrueBlood then it would have to be Lafayette. WORD!
lol, you're right about that Cary. Lafayette really IS hot in the series.
I think Eric is hot but a little scary. I would so love to be in a relationship with Sam. What can I say? I love dogs and my first was a collie. I did like Quinn too.
I think it's odd they are all attractive but I' more into the temptress kind of men such as Eric...I also wish Bill would let sookie do more things that she wanted the plot would have more thickness to it
I'd have to say Eric, Sam and Alcide....
I have to say that I was a bit disapointed when Quinn came on the scene. Too many suitors in the kitchen makes for...yeah, I forgot where that was going. Not having read all of the books yet, I think Im going to wait to form too much of an opinion. It does seem though that time after time CH keeps everything comming full circle back to Eric.
Who is the hotest hm. Being a guy I have been like answering the question with more of who is the coolest in mind. The hot est. Sookie,Pam,Claudine,and Maria Star. True Blood. Sarah Newlin lets do some praying,LOL.

Well wait until Season 3, I hear Eric is going to have a nude scene in the first episode.

Who is the hottest in the books? (not TV series) Alcide & Eric are gorgeous gods. Bill is super sweet and after reading all 9 books, twice, I know he loves her the most. But I also think Razul definitely has it going on too! I just could not get into Quinn's pansy purple eyes and Mr. Clean look. Quinn calling Sookie "Hey Babe" was a turn off. And Eric saying "Lover" sounds sort of serial killer'ish creepy. I do like Bill calling Sookie "sweetheart", it even sounds actually appropriate to his civil war era. I really don't see Vikings saying "My Lover" maybe "come her woman or wench". But good god y'all Eric is super-fly in the books. Sookie should suggest a better pet name he could use. In the book Sam does absolutely nothing for me (thin lipped, strawberry blonde). Sam looks much better in the series, so does Lafayette.
the problem with Sam in the series is--he's such a WIMP. In the books, while he's not a superhero or anything, he IS stronger than he's shown in the tv show.

Lets see I seem to remember in the series that Sam turns into a lion in Dead to the World known as the witch wars to fans,and kicks some major ass at the big fight with the invading were pack that leads to Alcides asscention to Shreveport pack leader.
Oh and one thing I do agree with is that Bill loves Sookie the most. He was her first. Sookie needed to expierience other relationships. So she could realize in the end Bill really loves her whether they get together or not.

um, ok, I just decided to NOT cancel my HBO subscription. I hope that Eric appreciates my being willing to keep forking out the big dough just for the chance to see ALL of him. :oP Altho he probably just takes it as his due, right?
I was watching Season 1 again and at the end of season 1, I think episode 11, there's a bathtub scene with Eric. He takes a bath while watching for Bill to come home. As regards to the HBO subscription, I been watching the series for free on megavideo.
lol, I can't really afford to cancel my HBO subscription. We are "grandfathered" in to the package that our old cable company had--which means that I'd actually wind up paying MORE if I discontinued any of my premium channels. And we have EVERYTHING. Back when our daughter was younger and still lived at home (then again when she and her family moved back home) having all those premium channels was nice. But now? We don't seem to watch a whole lot of them any more.
I've got to say that I am definitely a fan of Eric! I agree it's a little bizzare that he calls her "my lover" but I bet it sounds very sexy coming from him! All my fave sections have Eric...Quinn is just a punk. I do like Alcide though. I'm over Bill.
Why is Quinn so hated? I thought he was a gentleman and really cared about Sookie and their was mutual attraction.
Jayme--its not that Quinn is hated. Its just that he really is NOT in a place right now where he can get involved with ANY woman, and not just Sookie. His mother's mental problems are going to have to keep her as his "primary" concern, since she keeps getting into trouble that HE then has to clean up. Quinn's sister is also more than a bit needy. Altho with her, I can't help but think that if she had a female role model who is NOT her mother, she could be so much better. In some ways, it really IS a pity that Sookie and Quinn aren't right, because I think that Sookie could do a lot to help Quinn's sister.
yeah i can see that. There is the problem with Quinn mother and until she can function for herself(doubtful), Quinn will never be able to have any kind of relationship with a woman.
Quinn is a nice guy, and I don't think he is hated. He did betray the Louisana Vamps but they were going down anyway,and he helped save the Shreveport Vamps. Being Eric,Bill,Pam,and others plus Sookie who would have fought with the Bon Temps Vampires.
Oh wow I would say Eric for sure. I think his cocky attitude is sexy mainly because he has it under control. He seems to really love Sookie and worries about her too.
I'm jumping up and down, chanting ERIC ERIC ERIC ERIC. My friend and I are huge fans, the man is so drool worthy. I was in love with him way before the show. I didn't care for Bill as much the first time I read the series because I was ga-ga over Eric. When I reread them now, I see different sides. Eric is sweeter the second time around and less intimidating, while I see Bill as more interesting than I initially did.
I still think she should be with Eric but my second favorite has, surprisingly, come back to Bill. In the last few books he's shown true remorse, and after what happened in the latest book, he loves her so sincerely I can't not pay attention to him. I've more convinced now Eric loves her after the latest book too, they just have different ideas of relationships or something.
SAM! and I like Lafayette
I cannot vote for Eric. For some reason while reading the series, long before the show, all I could visualize was Fabio...LOL. I liked Alcide the best in all ways for Sookie untill he got all moody on her. Some of these weres are more emotional than girls...LOL.
HAHAHAHAHA, That was good Jessie, Fabio, you know the actor that portrays Eric does look like Fabio in the first season.
In the second season, the actor who plays Eric reminds me of Carlisle from Twilight.
I agree he is good looking.

Eric for sure in the books and the show. I like the Bill better in the books than the way he is in the show. I have nothing against the actore, but the way he's played.....
Ooooo ooo oo Eric definitely.. hahaha soo hot.. haha both in the books and the show..although Quinn and Alcide are runners up.. the guy that plays Alcide in the new season.. he is damn fine..

I think it's so funny that everyone says Eric. Bill is supposed to be the "hero" in both the book and t.v show. But even i admit that i loooveee Eric. he has that bad boy quality that i can't get enough of
i know he def. does not act like the hero and think sookie should go to Eric in the books. I know in the show Bill is more of the hero but i can't help but feel like he's supposed to be the hero in some weird twisted way in the books too. Why would sookie keep going back to him if he wasn't in some way good?

But in my opinion Eric is the one who is there for her over and over again when it truly matters. When Bill was with her, he got bored and work was more important.

It seems strange sometimes, since in the beginning (books), she "belongs" to Bill. And even then, he wants to take care of her, without really realizing it. Sorry, I have a big, hum, sorry, huge, crush on Eric. So... Hope he gets Sookie!
