Hi,
I read this book series in primary school about 5 years ago.
Plot: Boy goes out in a boat before getting lost and finding an island. He meets some apes and ends up fighting the leader I think. In the second book of the series he meets female pirates, who he ends up working for. Can't remember in the next books but I think there are lots of books in the series. Please help if possible.
